After mainland law enforcement personnel arrived, they went to the reef in accordance with the law to verify and deal with it. The Philippine military has provoked incidents at Ren'ai Jiao and Tie Line Jiao, especially by introducing external forces to intervene in disputes in the South China Sea. And the old Philippine warship on Ren'ai Jiao and the Philippine active-duty soldiers on Thitu Island are like two old plasters, after so many years, they can't be driven away but they are disgusting. Although we have repeatedly demanded that the Philippine military leave Thitu Island and Ren'ai Jiao on the mainland and evacuate all personnel and facilities on the islands and reefs, the Philippine military has never intended to leave the mainland's Nansha islands and reefs, but has done everything possible to occupy the mainland's Nansha islands and reefs and muddy the waters of the South China Sea in the international community so as to facilitate their gains.
Regulated by the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea, for so many years, we have maintained the peaceful status quo of the Nansha islands and reefs, never changed the status quo in the South China Sea, neither reclaimed the sea nor expelled the externally occupied islands and reefs. We have every reason to take the opportunity to recover Thitu Island and all foreign-occupied islands and reefs, including towing away the Philippine warship at Ren'ai Jiao and driving the Philippine servicemen from Thitu Island.
Thitu Island has a land area of 0.38 square kilometers, was once the second natural island of the mainland's Nansha Islands, was occupied by the Philippines in 1971, and is now the Philippines' pseudo command center in the Nansha, with more than 100 troops stationed on the island and more than 200 illegal immigrants. Thitu Island is located in the Thitu Atoll (West Atoll), including the Thitu Reef, the atoll area reaches 70 square kilometers, the reef area is about 25 square kilometers, if the reef is filled with land, at least 10 square kilometers can be filled, so that the land of the Thitu Island and Thitu Island can be connected as a whole, and the entire Thitu Atoll can form a large island, recover Thitu Island, and drive the Filipino soldiers away from the Thitu Reef, so that there will be no Thitu reef problem.
