On April 7th, the opera "Mountains and Seas" will land in the island city, conducted by the famous conductor Zhang Guoyong, Qingdao Symphony Orchestra as the orchestra, and the National Center for the Performing Arts performance, this performance will be directed by Zhang Anqi, Wang Hongwei, Gong Shuang, Xu Jingjing, Jin Zhengjian, Ma Teng, Wu Mengxue, Chen Yingzhu, Guan Zhijing and other outstanding artists continue to use authentic dialects and moving arias to tell you the legendary story of poverty alleviation of "like-minded people, not far from mountains and seas".
The "mountain" in "Mountains and Seas" refers to Ningxia and "sea" refers to Fujian, each taking a word, it becomes "Mountains and Seas", telling the story of the people of Xihaigu in Ningxia represented by Yongquan Village in the 90s of the last century who moved to Yongning County, a suburb of Yinchuan, and with the help of their counterparts in Fujian, they developed the wasteland and established an economic development zone from scratch, and jointly turned the desolate and barren Gobi Desert into a great pioneering epic of "Saibei Jiangnan".
Spanning more than 2,000 kilometers from Fujian to Ningxia, "Mountains and Seas" presents a road of common prosperity through the "Fujian-Ningxia Model" of poverty alleviation cooperation between the east and the west, reproduces the touching deeds and noble spirit of the model of poverty alleviation with artistic expression, and shows the great achievements of the mainland's poverty alleviation.

Synopsis
In the 90s of the last century, the young cadres of the county immigration office were blessed and returned to their hometown Yongquan Village to persuade Li Dayou and other villagers who fled from Jiaozhuang Migrant Village. I met the girl I was in love with. Shui Hua is preparing to run away with Defu's younger brother Debao and several other village youths to avoid her father's marriage for her. In the end, the water splash was still forced to marry Kushui Village, and Defu was depressed.
Three years later, a new group of migrant households from Jiaozhuang trekked on the barren beach and met Chen Jinshan, a cadre from Fujian Province who aided Ningbo. Defu had a dispute with Director Liu of the substation over the electricity problem in the migrant village. Shui Hua arrived in time with her disabled husband, so that the number of households in the new village with electricity reached the standard.
In July 1997, the village was officially named "Minning Village". The poverty alleviation team from Fujian, led by Chen Jinshan, deputy county magistrate, and Ling Yinong, an agricultural expert, went to the village to develop the courtyard economy, organize the export of labor services, and put forward a long-term plan for Yanghuang irrigation. Depot and Hydro cultivate Bisporus mushrooms, and Mai Miao and other young sisters are determined to go to the coastal areas to work to earn money. Defu became the first village party secretary.
With the advent of the new century, Minning Village developed into Minning Town, and the former Yongquan Village moved the entire village to the plain area, bidding farewell to the mountain life and establishing a new home for common prosperity.
On April 7, 2024, the National Centre for the Performing Arts' original national opera "Mountains and Seas" will be sung in the island city, listen to this sincere masterpiece together, and feel the epic of the endless struggle of the Chinese people!
