"Panda Special Train" is a high-end boutique tourist train operated by China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd., with panda as the design theme, and displays regional culture and national characteristics through various forms.
Since its launch on March 28, 2021, the "Panda Special Train" has traveled through Dunhuang in Gansu, Urumqi in Xinjiang, Ejina in Inner Mongolia, Xichang in Sichuan, Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, Wulong in Chongqing, Guiyang in Guizhou, Yantai in Shandong and other places, effectively promoting the development of the cultural tourism industry in the regions it passes through. Up to now, the "Panda Special Train" has run a total of 74 times, which is favored by passengers from all over the country.
The newly put into operation Shifang "Panda Special Train" train is 17 trains, with a total capacity of 466 seats, including 3 "Yinghua" senior soft sleepers, 10 "Matsu" senior hard sleepers, 1 "Yongcheng" food truck, 1 "Shigu" multi-functional entertainment vehicle, 1 camping car, and 1 power generation vehicle.
The interior and exterior decoration of the body and various details show the regional cultural characteristics of Shifang in an all-round way, and can provide a variety of themed travel services such as leisure vacation, food sightseeing, research and travel, etc., to meet the needs of passengers of different ages.
At the same time, the number of high-end soft sleepers and high-end hard sleepers with good response from passengers has been increased, the fire protection and noise reduction facilities in the car have been optimized and upgraded, and the intelligent facilities and equipment of private rooms and shower rooms have been rationalized to make the experience better for passengers.
During the trial trip, passengers took the Shifang "Panda Special Train" to Tai'an, Qingdao, Weihai, Luoyang and other places to appreciate the majesty and heroism of Mount Tai and explore the thousand-year-old secrets of the ancient capital Luoyang, and then took a passenger ferry to Seoul and Pyeongtaek in South Korea to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, Blue House, Namsan Hanok Village and other well-known scenic spots, to appreciate the exotic customs and natural scenery.
