On March 11, 2024 (the second day of the second month of February), Zhang Jingong of Zhenghe County sent more than 1,000 people from the Zhang clan and more than 1,000 guests from ten counties and cities in southern Zhejiang, Sanming, Ningde and Nanping to gather in front of the tomb of General Zhang Jin, the Tang Dynasty Envoy of Tieshan Tunwei, Tieshan Town, Zhenghe County, to hold the "Commemoration of the 1146th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of General Zhang Jin of Tang Fujian and the Cultural Ceremony of Promoting the Ying Festival".
At about 9 o'clock in the morning, the sky was still raining, and the grand "Commemoration of the 1146th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of General Zhang Jin of Tang Fujian and the Promotion of the Yingjie Cultural Ceremony" began as scheduled and orderly, and the ceremony was presided over by Zhang Biling, who came all the way from Pingnan, and Zhang Changfu, the 38th grandson of the Gong of Jin.
In the first stage of the ceremony, a sacrifice was held to commemorate Zhang Jingong, first the grandchildren offered flowers, and then, the 83-year-old Zhang Ruying, the patriarch, read out the memorial text: trace the roots, praise the ancestors, teach the children and grandchildren, exhort and admonish, love the country and love the family.
The second stage of the ceremony revolves around the theme of "Promoting the Culture of the British Festival". The host first introduced the representatives and guests of the Zhang clan from ten counties and cities in southern Zhejiang, Sanming, Ningde and Nanping. Zhang Mingyou, president of the Association for the Promotion of Public Welfare Undertakings in Tieshan Village, Tieshan Town, Zhenghe County, delivered a speech, warmly welcomed the clan representatives and guests from all over the world, extended cordial greetings to them, and briefly introduced the Yingjie culture and tea ancestor culture to them.
Zhang Canyang, executive chairman of the Zhang Committee of the Fujian Provincial Surname Source Research Association, was entrusted by Zhang Hutou, the chairman of the provincial Zhang Province, to deliver a speech for the ceremony, he said, the sacrifice to remember the ancestors, carry forward the culture of the British Festival, is an important part of the continuation of the Chinese nation, and hope that the Zhang clan people will unite as one and contribute to the cultural rejuvenation of the nation.
Wu Bangcai, former secretary of the party committee of Wuyi University and general adviser of Yingjie Cultural Park, who came to attend the ceremony, made an enthusiastic speech and fully affirmed: This ceremony is the best commemoration of the martyrs, the best protection of ancient trees, ancient tombs, and monuments, and the best interpretation of Chinese culture and traditional culture of loyalty, righteousness, filial piety, and wisdom.
Fan Chunjiang, chairman of the People's Congress of Tieshan Town, said in his speech that the tea ancestor culture is the pride of the people of Zhenghe Tieshan, and it is the pride of the people of Zhenghe, and it has a far-reaching impact on the tea industry of Zhenghe.
