It is expected that this year's peak day for tomb sweeping will occur on the weekends of two weeks before and after the Qingming Festival (March 23, 24, 30, 31, April 4 to 6, and April 13 and 14, respectively). The peak travel period starts on March 8 and lasts until April 18, mainly on the four weekends before and after the Qingming Festival and on the day of Qingming Festival. According to the forecast, the traffic volume on April 4, the day of the Qingming Festival, will reach about 525,400 vehicles. In order to ensure the orderly and safe traffic, Suzhou Ring Company recommends that the general public plan their itinerary in advance and choose the travel time and route reasonably.
