In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, solidly carry out a series of trial observation activities of the people's congress deputies of the Fangshan District People's Congress "walking into the court and approaching the judges", and take the initiative to accept the supervision of the people's congress deputies, on March 20, the Fangshan Court invited the municipal and district people's congress deputies to observe the trial of administrative cases.
Wang Yuan, director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the Standing Committee of the Fangshan District People's Congress, Ding Xuegong, deputy director, Li Chunsheng, Ban Chunyan, deputy director of the Municipal People's Congress, and Deng Junlan, deputy to the District People's Congress, attended the event. Qi Ying, Secretary of the Party Group of Fangshan Court, Shen Bo, member of the Party Group and Vice President, Chen Xiuqing, full-time member of the Review Committee, and responsible comrades of relevant departments attended the event.
The case observed in this trial was a case of administrative punishment and administrative reconsideration by a company suing the Beijing Fangshan District Ecological Environment Bureau and the Beijing Fangshan District People's Government.
Jia Huiying, head of the administrative trial division of the Fangshan People's Court, served as the presiding judge and formed a collegial panel with two people's assessors to hear the case together. Liu Jinhui, deputy head of Fangshan District, appeared in court as the person in charge of the administrative organ of the Fangshan District government.
During the trial, Jia Huiying presided over the parties to present, cross-examine and debate the key issues of the case through the method of "integration of cross-examination and defense", and conducted a comprehensive review of the legality of the sued administrative act.
At the symposium, Jia Huiying introduced the administrative and judicial protection work of the Fangshan Court related to the ecological environment, and exchanged views with the NPC deputies on the cases heard this time.
The deputies to the National People's Congress who participated in the activities unanimously agreed that the trial order was standardized, efficient, logical, and accurately summarized the focus of the dispute, which fully demonstrated the judge's ability to control the trial, and was a vivid legal education class. Through the trial observation activity of "Entering the Court and Approaching the Judge", I felt the fair and open judicial procedures of the court and the hard work of the judges in handling cases, better understood the work of the courts, and improved the accuracy of the performance of duties by the deputies of the people's congress.
At the same time, based on the development of the activities and their own realities, the deputies put forward suggestions such as enriching the forms of trial observation, strengthening research, judgment and analysis, and strengthening the publicity of legal popularization.

In the future, it is necessary to continue to strengthen communication and contact, continuously improve and optimize them, and make trial observation activities an important position for strengthening daily supervision and improving the liaison work of people's congress deputies, increasing the pertinence and effectiveness of people's congress deputies' supervision, and helping the high-quality development of court work.
