On March 23rd, we'll see you there!

Neurofibromatosis type I (NF1) is a rare disease with multi-system involvement, high teratogenicity and disability rates, and a serious impact on the survival and quality of life of children. For a long time, the exploration of effective treatment options has become an important topic in the field of rare disease diagnosis and treatment. Relevant studies have shown that the average age of death of NF1 patients is significantly earlier than that of the normal population. Therefore, although the incidence rate in the population is relatively low, it also brings a heavy burden of disease to the families and society of NF1 patients. In 2023, NF1 will also be officially included in the second batch of rare diseases in mainland China, which shows the urgent need to improve its diagnosis and treatment.

On March 23, 2024, the Plastic Surgery Science and Technology Week - Neurofibromatosis Type I and Body Surface Tumor Forum will be grandly presented! Professor Li Qingfeng from the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Professor Gu Jianying from Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University will be invited to serve as honorary chairmen. Professor Wang Zhichao and Professor Yang Jun of the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Professor Zhang Jinming of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University served as the chairmen of the conference. Together with more than 10 authoritative experts in the academic field, we discussed the hot topics of NF1 and surface tumor diagnosis and treatment, understood the cutting-edge progress in the field, and standardized clinical diagnosis and treatment behaviors. In order to finally truly benefit patients with NF1 and body surface tumors in mainland China.
