The changes in community homes not only embody the efforts of grassroots cadres, but also integrate the wisdom of residents. Last year, guided by the concepts of "People's City", "Good Neighbor Home", "Participatory Planning" and "Three Micro Governance", Jiangpu Road Sub-district focused on the "One Home, One Product" good-neighbor project, continued to promote grassroots governance innovation, and implemented 22 good-neighbor projects. After a year of practice, the residential areas have successfully completed the set goals. At the beginning of this year, the sub-district "selected the best of the best" and selected the "top ten" good-neighborly projects that can best represent the level of autonomy of residents in the district and reflect the characteristics of Jiangpu governance.
Recently, the 2023 "Top 10" Good Neighbor Project Exhibition in Jiangpu Road Street Residential Area was held in the Good Neighbor Center of Liaoyuan West Road, further summarizing and promoting the successful experience of residents' autonomy and continuing to build an innovative brand of grassroots governance. At the scene, outstanding projects from 10 residential areas were presented in turn. Through sitcom interpretation, three and a half sentences, PPT reports, video presentations and other ways, the young cadres took everyone to review the wonderful moments and valuable experience in the process of building the project.
The micro-renewal of the community allows the masses to gain a sense of happiness in every detail. The Wujiabang residential area has made a fuss about the "security booth" to create a multi-functional good-neighbor post station that residents love, innovating the path of micro-renewal of the old community, and the Lanzhou Xincun residential area has set up a bridge repair team to repair and improve the broken wooden bridge of the Jiangsheng apartment to meet the needs of residents and ignite the enthusiasm of residents to participate in self-government.
How to arouse the enthusiasm of residents to participate in community affairs? The residential areas of Jiangpu Road Sub-district are constantly exploring in practice. Zhangjiabang residential area has gone through "ups and downs" to complete the renewal of the corridors of the old community, and the practice of uniting every household and jointly participating in the construction of the corridors is of exemplary significance for improving the "gold content" of the autonomous project;
How should residents express their demands and ideas? Xingtai Residential District has set up a "second floor team leader" meeting hall to enrich the autonomy of the building group and guide everyone to deeply participate in the discussion of major issues such as the formulation of community conventions and the renovation of the business committee; Dahuayuan Residential District has formulated the "Household Code" to create a good-neighborly community where "there are things to discuss"; Liaoer Residential District has set up 162 neighborhood councils to resolve community conflicts caused by the renovation of the old area, successfully resolving many community conflicts and disputes, and helping to realize "conflicts do not leave the community" goals.
Many residential areas have expanded their "circle of friends", integrated resources, sought cooperation, and won more support and professional strength for the community. Jinpeng Residential Area explores the innovative path of large-scale building group construction, and works with co-construction units to build 4 good-neighborly living rooms through the method of "self-raising by residents + contribution by co-construction units", and takes this opportunity to unite the people's hearts and promote the smooth development of practical projects such as elevator renewal; Jinpeng Residential Area introduces the professional strength of community planners and establishes an autonomous team to build the abandoned "glass house" in the community into an "Internet celebrity" check-in point with strong artistic atmosphere and rich functional connotation; Liaoyi Residential Area explores "business building + residential building" The model of two-building co-construction takes the opportunity of successfully adding elevators to guide residents to carry out micro-renovation of the corridors, which further stimulates the new vitality of the residents' autonomy in the building group.
The event invited Wang Yuezhen, a "good neighbor" in Yangpu District, and Bao Yan, a lecturer at the Party School of Yangpu District Party Committee, to exchange experience and expert comments on autonomy respectively, and share the "magic tricks" of grassroots autonomy with the participating residential areas based on their experiences in different fields.
The community is the basic functional unit of the city, and it is also an important place for the integration of urban culture and the improvement of residents' cohesion.
