The Super Bowl has never been just about football, with halftime shows and commercials being talked about every year, and this year there's a new topic – Taylor Swift. Her romance with the Chiefs' Travis Kelce has been a favorite in the NFL for some time past, and after Taylor made his debut at the Chiefs' home court last September, Kyles' jersey sales rose 400% to enter the top 5 of the NFL's jersey sales list. As of Jan. 22, Taylor generated $331.5 million in brand value for the Chiefs and NFL, according to Apex Marketing Group.

Before the Super Bowl, there was a hot topic about whether Taylor would be able to catch the Super Bowl after the concert in Japan. And according to a quick survey conducted by Numerator after the game, 20 percent of respondents said they supported the Chiefs because of Taylor.
