However, it is a pity that only two days before the Spring Festival, the DPP authorities "countered" the mainland's cancellation of the M503 route bias measure by "suspending the recruitment of tour groups to the mainland", which dropped a shock bomb on the tense cross-strait relations. And Lai Qingde's team even warned Chinese mainland through Taiwan media on the first day of the new year, casting a shadow on the development of cross-strait relations in the new year. And this so-called "source" is actually a member of Lai Qingde's team, which is a typical "talking" operation in Taiwan's political arena. Under the control of the United States, Lai Qingde will not take substantive "Taiwan independence" actions before or after his inauguration on May 20. However, the United States allows the current cross-strait relations to be completely destroyed and then slowly restored.
Therefore, only the mainland will continue to make a move in the future, so Lai Qingde will take the route of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, and fight the mainland to the end in a hard-hitting way. Lai Qingde will also put the "black cauldron" that undermines cross-strait relations on the mainland, and at the same time bring about a new pattern of "zeroing" cross-strait relations, so as to create conditions for Lai Qingde to bargain with the mainland and the United States in the next step.
However, Lai Qingde and Tsai Ing-wen play this kind of trick, thinking that they can hold Chinese mainland hostage, but it is actually wishful thinking. Because on the Taiwan Strait issue, it is the United States and the DPP authorities that are afraid of a showdown, not the mainland. Both Tsai Ing-wen and Lai Ching-te essentially want to pursue "Taiwan independence" and refuse to recognize that both sides of the strait belong to one China and that they do not recognize the '92 consensus.
