Rural resources have been revitalized, and the village has taken on a new look
In the early years, Shiping Village, Yonghe Town, Lianshan Town, faced difficulties such as difficulty in changing villagers' thinking concepts, difficulty in revitalizing land, and difficulty in increasing villagers' income. Guangdong proposed to implement the "Millions and Millions Project" to further point out the direction and inject strong impetus into the "Three Places Revitalization" exploration project. Ding Qiufeng and his team systematically revitalized the three land resources of Shiping Village, including contracted land, village collective management construction land and rural homesteads, through the use of circulation, shareholding, trusteeship, etc., and revitalized 30 idle houses and 300 acres of cultivated land. She also took the local villagers to complete the first phase of the "Three Places Revitalization" project in only 26 days, including the construction of three model rooms, the completion of 3D ethnic murals and the improvement of the environment of the surrounding four small gardens. The butterfly change in the appearance of the village also surprised and surprised the villagers. Through steel reinforcement and translucent transformation, Ding Qiufeng and his team have built a tourist reception center, a village coffee house, a public restaurant, a model homestay, etc. in the village.
"We also carry out homestay housekeeper training to improve the service concept and ability quality of villagers, so that they can run the village, and then develop 'homestay + folk culture, food, health care' and other formats. Ding Qiufeng said.
With the maturity of various facilities, Ding Qiufeng began to realize the "sleeping" resources of Shiping Village by linking various resources. In 2023, Shiping Village will host 29 training courses for cadres of the "two committees" of villages (communities) in Lianshan County, rural operators, village housekeepers, Cantonese chefs, and village chefs, with a training capacity of about 1,200 people, more than 600 training team building and exchange activities, receiving about 40,000 tourists, and driving 826 rural households to increase their income. In September 2023, the provincial demonstration class of the Guangdong Communist Youth League Rural CEO Cultivation Program was successfully held in Shiping Village. The development of Shiping Village's tourism economy has created more than 240 jobs for the local people and provided a diversified source of income for the villagers.
To create a "business-oriented" village, the silent mountain village has become a hot spot for rural revitalization
Ding Qiufeng pays special attention to the management of living space, and implants homestays, coffee bars, village courtyards, bonfire parties, conference rooms, shared vegetable gardens and other business projects in Shiping Village.
In addition, Ding Qiufeng also closely followed the "trend" hot spots, under the guidance of the Youth League Municipal Committee, to build a youth creative valley, open a youth manufacturing store, a youth market, and build an off-campus practice base for the Young Pioneers, so as to build Shiping Village into a young literary and artistic fashion corner full of youth everywhere and integrating cultural education, cultural creativity, and handicrafts. Yonghe Zhuangyao Cultural Tribe was awarded the first batch of "Guangdong Youth Rural CEO Practice Base" in the province.
