Warm Spring Celebration Celebrates the Chinese New Year
The Chinese New Year party of overseas Chinese in Kyrgyzstan was held in the capital Bishkekron
At the beautiful moment of saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new, on February 3, the Shornkole Banquet Hall was brightly lit, the national flags of China and Kyrgyzstan stood in the front center of the hall, the Chinese knot and red lanterns were hung high on both sides of the hall, the word "Fu" on the door post was particularly eye-catching, and the Spring Festival blessing gift package presented by the embassy to each compatriot was placed on the guest seats. The 2024 "Warm Spring Festival • Celebrating the Chinese Year" Kyrgyzstan Overseas Chinese New Year Party is being held here.
Ms. Du Dewen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ms. Timurbayeva Mirgul, the National Assembly of Kyrgyzstan, and more than 200 people from overseas Chinese in Kyrgyzstan, Chinese-funded enterprises, teachers and students of Confucius Institutes, representatives of international students and friends from all walks of life in Kyrgyzstan gathered together to welcome the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon.
Ambassador Du Devin delivered an enthusiastic speech. She spoke highly of the achievements in the development of Sino-Kyrgyzstan relations over the past year and fully affirmed the efforts and contributions made by overseas Chinese in Kyrgyzstan to promote Sino-Kyrgyzstan friendship and cooperation. Ambassador Du said that the Chinese-style modernization and the building of a China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future will further promote the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan and open up a new bright future for the development of China-Kyrgyzstan relations.
Jiang Chaoxin, president of the Kyrgyz Federation of Overseas Chinese, said in his speech: For a long time, under the cordial care and leadership of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and with the support and help of the Kyrgyz government and all walks of life, we, the Kyrgyz Federation of Overseas Chinese, have always held high the banner of patriotism, insisted on loving the motherland and hometown, united and condensed the strength of the vast number of overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese and various chambers of commerce (associations), and publicized and cohesive. Educate the vast number of overseas Chinese and enterprises in Kyrgyzstan, abide by the national laws and regulations of Kyrgyzstan and national traditions and customs, always live in harmony with the local people, and seek common development, especially under the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, the friendly exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between the people of our two countries have achieved fruitful results and benefited the people of the two countries. In the future, we will work harder to implement the "Medium and Long-term Economic and Trade Cooperation Plan" between China and Kyrgyzstan!
Ms. Timurbayeva Mirgul, a member of the Kyrgyz National Assembly, was invited to attend the evening as a member of parliament, and she also expressed her deep wishes. She said: On the occasion of the Spring Festival, the traditional festival of the Chinese people, I wish the Chinese compatriots here a happy and auspicious holiday. The friendly relations between China and Kyrgyzstan have been positive and healthy development, Chinese-funded enterprises and the Federation of Overseas Chinese in Kyrgyzstan have given us a lot of support and help, we will remember this true feelings and friendship, and at the same time wish the Kyrgyz Federation of Overseas Chinese and Chinese to make greater achievements under the leadership of the new council!
In the cheerful melody of the Kyrgyz folk dance, the party kicked off.
Ashankanova Baulebek's melodious flute "Flute Fu" made us enjoy the beautiful melody. The song "My Chinese Heart", by Liu Duan, a teacher from the Confucius Institute, sang the hearts of many overseas Chinese. Vladimir Malosavich's collective performance of Tai Chi added a strong Chinese complex. Mamat Umar's Kumuz music played with superb skill and skillful technique will not be forgotten for a long time. The solo dance "On the Tambourine" by Song Xumin, a teacher from the Confucius Institute, seems to take you into ancient China. The familiar "My Motherland and Me" by Chinese singer Jiaolaman Yushan immediately resonated with the audience, following the beat and melody, and interpreting the solo into a chorus with the audience. Finally, in the sound of Kyrgyz folk dances and melodies, the 2024 "Warm Spring Festival • Celebrating the Chinese Year" New Year Gala hosted by the Kyrgyz Federation of Overseas Chinese was successfully concluded.
