Solang Tsering's hometown is Nyingchi, Tibet, which is known as the "snowy Jiangnan", and the pure land of the plateau with high sky and clouds gives Suolang Tsering a high-pitched and bright voice, and also gives birth to his ignorant love of music.
In September 2009, Solang Tsering was admitted to the Chinese People's Armed Police Force Academy (now the Chinese People's Police University), and in addition to training and studying, he insisted on pursuing his music dream. By chance, the director of CCTV's "Very 6+1" program group was invited to watch the first "Grace Star" performance of the Armed Police Academy, and Solang Tsering deeply moved the director with an original song "My Grandpa". On April 25, 2015, a magnitude 8.1 earthquake struck Nepal, devaluing the Zhangmu border crossing on the China-Nepal border. The former Tibet Public Security Frontier Corps immediately dispatched reinforcements to the disaster area for emergency rescue and rescue, and the officers and men on the front line were under tremendous physical and mental pressure. The corps quickly launched wartime ideological and political work and organized key literary and artistic cadres to go to the disaster-stricken areas to offer condolences. Seeing the young soldiers fighting day and night to stick to their posts, racing against time to save lives under the rubble, Solang Tsering's heart was moved beyond words. At that time, the disaster area was full of ruins and broken walls, and sadness was everywhere, and Solang Tsering, who was concerned about his "second hometown" and comrades-in-arms, secretly determined that he must dispel the haze in everyone's hearts with heart and affection, and fight on the front line in a better state. In the days when aftershocks were frequent, Solang Tsering and the backbone of literature and art ate boxed lunches, lived in tents, slept on the floor, rushed to the front line of earthquake relief and soothing the soul, and used their unique ways to inspire everyone to strengthen their confidence and turn their hearts to the sun.
Due to the continuous aftershocks at that time, for the sake of safety, all the people in the jurisdiction were moved to Shigatse City. Solang Tsering looked at the camphor wood, which was called "Little Hong Kong" in the past, and became empty, only the tall figure next to the country gate was as good as ever, standing up and taking responsibility, and sighed in his heart. Solang Tsering immediately contacted Guo Xiong through a friend and put forward the idea that he wanted to compose a song based on the poem "Dream Back to Zhangmu", and Guo Xiong readily agreed to Solang Tsering's request.
