The Jingjing high-speed railway has entered the official track-laying stage
The Jingjing high-speed railway has a total length of 77.6 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and has three stations on the whole line: Jingmen West, Shayang West and Jingzhou. The Jingjing high-speed railway officially started construction in September 2020.
At the same time, real-time monitoring of the on-site working status and the driving trajectory of the stations along the equipment to further ensure the safety of the track-laying transportation and on-site construction of the engineering line.
The Jingjing high-speed railway, the Xiangjing high-speed railway, and the high-speed railway along the Yangtze River will meet and interchange at Jingmen West Station. In January this year, the station building of Jingmen West Railway Station has completed the construction of the station complex, the ground floor of the station building, the platform and the foundation layer of the underground corridor, and officially transferred to the stage of metal roof construction and decoration, and the supporting construction of roads and public facilities in the square in front of the station is being accelerated.
After the Jingjing high-speed railway is completed and opened to traffic, the time and space distance between Jingmen and Jingzhou can be shortened, and the fastest train running time between the two places is only 20 minutes, and Jingmen has officially entered the era of high-speed rail. After the Wuyi section of the high-speed railway along the Yangtze River and the Xiangjing high-speed railway are completed and opened to traffic, they will "join hands" with the Jingjing high-speed railway at Jingmen West Station, which will greatly facilitate the travel of the people and help accelerate the construction of a green comprehensive transportation system along the Yangtze River, which is of great significance to serve and support the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and promote the economic and social development of Hubei Province.
