**Steps**:

**Preparation**:

1. Clean the silver carp, remove the scales and gutts and cut into cubes.

5. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar and an appropriate amount of salt, and stir-fry gently to make the fish pieces fully colored.

6. Add enough water, cover the fish, cover the pot and simmer over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes.

7. When the soup becomes thick, add the green and red pepper shreds and stir-fry well.

8. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes until the soup is completely dry and the shredded peppers are cooked soft.

9. Remove from the pan and place on a plate and sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish.
