In Shanghai, what kind of New Year's goods should I buy for the New Year? What Shanghai specialties should I bring to my hometown during the Spring Festival? The 18th Shanghai New Year Customs Exhibition, which is being held at the Shanghai Mass Art Museum, gives the answer. With the theme of "Shopping Guide for the New Year in the Magic City", the exhibition focuses on and excavates the interesting customs and phenomena of Shanghainese shopping for the New Year, and presents the popular shopping scenes, contents and methods of Shanghai citizens.
The reporter learned that the "Magic City New Year Shopping Guide" exhibition is divided into six parts, showing how to eat "stomach" in Shanghai, dress "style", and "cover your heart" with gifts. The exhibition uses nearly 40,000 words of stories, more than 250 photos, 40 collections, and about 112 Shanghainese specialties from more than 100 places. In order to present the real taste of Shanghai, 26 photographers, illustrators and media people from different professions walked the streets and alleys to participate in shooting, painting and writing calligraphy, presenting a unique exhibition with the flavor of Shanghai, allowing the audience to experience the Shanghai style in the New Year Festival and in daily life.
It is reported that this exhibition will last until March 3 as part of the Spring Festival activities of the Shanghai Mass Art Museum in the Year of the Dragon.
