In the seventeenth episode of "Journey to the West", "Sun Xingzhi made trouble in Heifeng Mountain, Guanyin ambushed the bear monster", in order to subdue the bear monster, Sun Wukong invited Guanyin Bodhisattva, Sun Wukong killed the Taoist who changed from the blue wolf, and asked Guanyin Bodhisattva to become the appearance of that Taoist and become a great elixir. Guanyin followed the plan, and sure enough, he became the person who was there. Sun Wukong looked at it and said: "Wonderful, wonderful, still a goblin Bodhisattva, or a Bodhisattva goblin?" The Bodhisattva smiled and said: "Wukong, a Bodhisattva, a goblin, is always a thought; ”

I used to watch "Journey to the West", but I didn't notice that Wukong's words at this time were "still a fairy Bodhisattva, or a Bodhisattva Fairy".

Sun Wukong's meaning is very clear, that is, in the end, is the goblin a bodhisattva changed, or a bodhisattva is a goblin? This sentence has two meanings, one is that both goblins and bodhisattvas have two images, one is a goblin and the other is a bodhisattva. That is, good and bad, good and evil are all in one. Second, the goblin bodhisattva sometimes shows an illusion, and sometimes the goblin and the bodhisattva cannot be distinguished, sometimes it is a goblin but it is a bodhisattva, and sometimes it is a bodhisattva, but it is a goblin. Here it is clear that Wu Chengen borrowed Sun Wukong's mouth to humorously say that goblins and bodhisattvas sometimes stand on the same front.

It is the goblin or the Bodhisattva who is confusing Sun Wukong, and of course the people of the world. There are many examples of goblins or bodhisattvas in real life, such as someone who looks handsome or beautiful, but is a wicked person, a bad person, or someone who looks ugly but has a good heart. Some people are good leaders, good cadres, and good party members in front of others, and they can speak well, but behind them they are villains who form gangs, abuse power for personal gain, and do all kinds of bad things; some people teach cadres the secrets of resisting corruption on stage, but they engage in corrupt business offstage.

In response to Wukong's feelings about the Bodhisattva and the goblin, the Bodhisattva disagreed, she said, "The Bodhisattva, the goblin, always have one thought." Guanyin Bodhisattva believes that although there is a difference between the two images of the bodhisattva and the goblin, it is difficult to distinguish between the two images, but the only criterion for judging the bodhisattva and the goblin is the thought in the heart, that is, whether the heart is good or evil. If you carefully experience the words of Guanyin Bodhisattva, you will understand that if you have good thoughts, you are a bodhisattva or a fairy on the surface, and if you have evil thoughts, you are a fairy or a bodhisattva on the surface. We should not be deceived by illusions, do not fall into the trap of whether it is a human or a demon, a god or a ghost, judging a demon or a ghost is actually very simple, do not look at the appearance of whether it is kind and good, but look at the good and evil in the heart.

In fact, judging people is the same, we should not be confused and overwhelmed by the beauty and ugliness of their appearance, do not be blinded by their power and be sincerely afraid, do not be dazzled by their money and money, do not be frightened by their fame and get carried away, just look at whether their hearts are good or bad. With a good heart, even if a person looks ugly like Wuda, even if he is like an ordinary person who has no power, even if he is like a poor bastard, a beggar who is penniless, and has insufficient food and clothing, he is still a good person and the reincarnation of a Bodhisattva. Those with bad hearts, even if they look better than Pan Anmei like Xizi, even if they are as powerful as Dong Zhuo and Qin Hui, even if they have more money than He Shen and are like big corrupt officials, even if they are as famous as the sun, moon and stars, they are still bad people and goblins reincarnated.

Guanyin Bodhisattva pointed out a clear way for us to see people sharply: "People should not be disguised". Appearance is very simple and can be seen at a glance, but if you look at the good and evil of people's hearts, it is difficult. Everyone's heart is hidden in the chest, we can't be like Daji to take out Bigan's heart to see, we can't be like Guanyin Bodhisattva mana is profound, look at people like no clothes, we can't be like Sun Dasheng has a pair of fiery eyes to recognize monsters, we only have a pair of mortal eyes, with the beauty, wealth, power, fame and fortune turning, how can we distinguish the Bodhisattva in others and the goblin in people at a glance?

Although it is impossible to identify the bodhisattva among people and the goblin among people at a glance, after a long time, the fox always has to show its fox tail, and the gold always has to shine. Therefore, good people are always discovered in the end, and at the same time, every corrupt person, every criminal, and every crook will eventually be taken off and exposed.

Sun Wukong not only has the great ability to go to heaven and earth, but the most important thing is that he is a real person, does not tell lies, and is not afraid of authority, so he dares to expose the shortcomings of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Tang Seng and Sun Wukong encountered disasters in the Guanyin Temple, in the words of Sun Wukong who went to the South China Sea to ask Guanyin Bodhisattva for help, that is: "My master and apprentice met your Zen Monastery on the road, you received incense in the world, and allowed a black bear spirit to live there (and befriended the dean), and he stole my master's robe, and repeatedly asked for it, and now I came to ask you for it." ”

Guanyin Bodhisattva's subordinates - the dean and his friends took the robe, and did not sell Sun Wukong's account, Sun Wukong had no choice but to complain to the black bear spirit (the black bear spirit and the dean are friends, it can be said that the dean is a comrade-in-arms in the trench) The superior Guanyin Bodhisattva asked the Bodhisattva to call the shots.

Sun Wukong wanted to kill the black bear spirit, but Guanyin didn't allow it, and said: "After my Luojia Mountain, there is no one to take care of him, I want to take him to be a mountain god." "The Black Bear Spirit used to be a black king in the Black Wind Cave in the Black Wind Mountain, and now he has become the great god of guarding the mountain behind Luojia Mountain in the South China Sea.

This matter can only be settled if the Bodhisattva himself comes forward to speak. This is like today's two subordinates have something to deal with, there is a contradiction, and they can't solve each other, and they ask the superior leader to solve it, and the superior leader sends a message, and there is no problem, and even if the subordinate is unhappy, he has to swallow his anger and seek perfection. If the two sides still have a conflict after being reconciled by their superiors, the higher-level leaders have no choice but to move one of them to another important department, or to another place to make a fortune.

It's really boring to watch "Journey to the West", whenever I see Sun Wukong and want to beat the demons and monsters to death, it is a certain fairy who comes out to forcibly protect his shortcomings, saying something that is not optimistic about the minions, please Sun Wukong Don't be narrow-minded and let people go. Throughout "Journey to the West", many of the demons and monsters are related to the gods or are inextricably linked. Therefore, as soon as Sun Wukong wants to enforce the law, those immortals will come to intercede with a smile, or ignore the existence of the law.

Guanyin Bodhisattva is no exception, and the protection of the black bear spirit is an example. In a way, what is good to the wicked is evil to the good. Guanyin's kindness to the abbot and the black bear spirit is evil to the people who took the scriptures and the many monks in the temple who were burned to death. Our indulgence of corrupt and criminal elements today is a crime against the good people.

Of course, Guanyin explains the Bodhisattva and the goblin from the ultimate point of view, that is, the education of the soul, that is, the goblin will also be taught as a Bodhisattva, such as Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Seng were all goblins before, and after being Buddhaized, they protected Tang Seng to learn scriptures. This is just like the purpose of our labor reform of criminals, warning education for party members and cadres, and education for all the people today, which is to transform people who were originally goblins into bodhisattvas, so that the whole country will become a bodhisattva world and a paradise of goodness.
