Zhou Dewei, Yin Haiguang, Xia Daoping, Xie Zonglin, and Wu Huilin all came into my reading field because of their relevance to Hayek (Mr. Xia Daoping's translation of Mises's "Human Behavior" only covers a few dozen pages). There is always a charm to me about their books, or the originality of their insights or the uniqueness of their language.
The title of Zhou Dewei's "Philosophy of Freedom and Chinese Sacred Studies" is the topic of my concern, and Mr. Zhou's famous couplet "How can there be articles to feel the world, endure meritorious deeds and suffer the common people" won my heart; Mr. Zhou, who was the first to introduce Hayek, was still interested in how to manage the beneficial environment, and if it can be connected with Chinese sacred studies, it will become a reference for action.
Hayek's greatness lies in his feelings for his family and country and even for the world, and his greatness lies in the places that can help us see the shining light of Chinese culture.
The same outsiders are Heidegger.
Scholars from Hong Kong and Taiwan seem to look up to Hayek, while mainland scholars often look up to him or even look down on him.
Looking up seems to be more abundant, looking up is after looking up, and looking down is more of a kind of self-satisfaction.
