Mao Sui's hometown is prosperous because of water

Jize County is very small, with only 337 square kilometers, ranking within the 10 smallest counties in Hebei Province. Jize County is very beautiful, the county seat is not big, the garden is not small, it is the "National Garden City" named by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Hundreds of birds inhabit here, the water and grass are abundant, and the society is harmonious.

Jize County has a lot of water since ancient times. It is the confluence of the alluvial fan of the Gusha River, the Haohe River and the alluvial fan of the Guzhang River, and the terrain is low-lying. There are many rivers, many waters, depressions, and swamps. "Bird's perch Xi next means fish, and the water and grass depend on each other and are called Ze", and the name of the county is called Ji Ze (鶏Ze).

Today's Jize River, the Liulei River, the Fuyang River, and the three rivers are crossed. The river, originating in the western mountainous area of Handan, is a river that has not been systematically governed. Liulei River, the first of the river is located at the Yongnian Depression Discharge Gate, which is an artificial drainage channel formed on the basis of the original Niuwei River after comprehensive treatment and dredging, and Jize County is located on the right bank of its 33 kilometers. The Fuyang River, whose source is in the Fengfeng mining area, flows through the eastern part of Jize County. Occasional floods have more advantages than disadvantages for the arid north.

This is the place where the princes of the Nine Kingdoms will meet. During the Spring and Autumn Period, the princes of the Nine Kingdoms led by the Jin State met here, concluded an alliance, and agreed to attack Chu. As the carrier of the "Jize Alliance", Huimengtai witnessed this important event in history of the combination of vertical and horizontal and the Spring and Autumn Period for hegemony.

This is the hometown of Mao Sui, a famous man of the Warring States period. Idioms and allusions such as "Mao Sui's self-recommendation", "one word and nine tripods", and "stand out", as well as the spirit of Mao Sui caused by this, are the precious cultural heritage that Mao Sui left to his hometown.
This is the ancestral hometown of Mao Heng and Mao Chang, who compiled and taught the existing "Book of Songs". The Book of Songs is one of the earliest collections of poetry in China, and was regarded as the first of the Confucian classics of the Five Classics during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Uncle and nephew of Mao Heng and Mao Chang of Jize have inherited this magnificent book for the world.

This is the birthplace of the Shaoshan Mao clan. According to expert research, Jize Mao Guanying Village is the hometown of Mao Sui and the birthplace of the Shaoshan Mao clan, which is the 22nd ancestor of Mao Zedong. Mao Binghan, president of the Chinese Mao's Research Association, inscribed a poem saying: Ji Ze Mao's recommended name, Mao Heng Mao Chang passed on the Book of Poetry. Later, the number moved to Shaoshan and gave birth to the great man Mao Zedong.

Jize is the hometown of Chinese chili peppers. Jize chili pepper was planted in the late Sui and early Tang dynasties more than 1,400 years ago, and became a court tribute during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. In 1996, the relevant state departments awarded the reputation of the country's first "hometown of Chinese peppers" to Jize County.
In recent years, Jize County has been actively committed to the research and promotion of Jize history and culture, and has given the research results of Maosui culture and Shijing culture to the construction of urban public infrastructure. The Shijing Cultural Park (Maosui Park), Maosui Street, Shijing Road, Shijing Middle School and Mao's Ancestral Hall were built respectively.
