However, any professional writer must have a holistic understanding of writing before learning to write novels.
That is, what is writing, how difficult is writing, what are people reading novels reading, and what do we need to learn when learning to write......
When I first learned to write, I spent a lot of time on specific writing skills, but without cognition as a foundation, the learning speed of skills would become very slow.
If a person's writing knowledge is not up to 100%, it is impossible to become a writer.
2. Market direction. (Importance: 70%)
Whether you're writing a traditional novel, an online novel, or a genre novel, we should understand the market direction before we create it.
Because the creation of the work is created for the reader, if the reader is not willing to read your work, then no matter how well it is written, it will not help.
Of course, many beginners always say, you see so-and-so old writers say, write not to cater to the market, but to write what you want to write.
3. Storytelling. (Importance: 100%)
This is easy to understand, if you want to write a novel, you must first conceive the story, and only if the story is conceived well enough can you start writing.
Many new authors have not gone through this step and want to start writing. In fact, if you don't conceive a story well, you start to write and create, and then give up after the end result!
When I first learned to write, I always started writing when I had an idea, but I didn't write much and gave up, so over time, I gave up too much, and it became a habit.
This step of the story includes, how to make the plot, how to grasp the rhythm, how to do the task configuration, etc., in fact, when this step is completed, the story is basically completed.
3. Methods of character building. (Importance: 100%)
Whether it is a novel or a film and television script, the characters are very important. We learn how to create characters, how to display characters, and at the same time, we have to know what kind of characters the reader likes, and what kind of characters the reader hates.
In a work, if the reader neither likes these characters nor hates them, then the story is doomed!
At the same time, it's not that you write a single character and the characters of the story are good. The novel is a whole, and the characters of the novel are more of a combination, just like an army, it is not a single soldier with strong combat ability, it is strong, and it needs more team combinations.

At the beginning of the novel, there are certain rules to follow, and as long as we follow these rules, then naturally there will be no problems.
5. Suspense setting method. (Importance: 100%)
The reason why a story can attract readers is actually one suspense after another that attracts readers to read.
If there is no suspense, then the story becomes bland.
How to configure and combine the suspense in the setting of the unsolved case, such as super suspense, big suspense, chapter suspense, and paragraph suspense, and where should the suspense be solved?
In fact, there are rules to follow.
In my experience, if we can master the suspense of the paragraphs and the suspense of the chapters, it is very easy to write a publishable novel.
In online novels, once you master the suspense setting method, it is very easy to break 10,000 yuan per month.
6. Line design. (Importance: 100%)
In novel writing, lines occupy a lot of space. If the lines are not written well, basically the novel is also a failure.
There are methods for the function of the lines, the rules followed for the writing of the lines, etc.
7. Perspective switching. (Importance: 100%)
I want to focus on perspective switching, because many friends who have just started writing don't pay attention to perspective switching, and don't even know that fiction writing will involve perspective switching.
Switching perspectives will directly affect the reader's reading experience, if you don't do it well, then no matter how strong your line skills are and how gripping the suspense setting is, it will actually dissuade the reader.

Although the description of the environment and scenery does not determine the life and death of the work, it is also very important in writing. Is an environmental description worth writing, how many words should be written, how to write it? Actually, there is a set of rules.
If you don't know this rule and write based on your feelings, then it's normal to write badly.
9. Modifications. (Importance: 50%)
The literary guru Ernest Hemingway once said that all first drafts are stinking shit. The real meaning of this sentence is that literary works need to be constantly revised.
When I first started writing, I didn't really know how to revise it. The so-called revision is to re-read the manuscript you have written several times, and revise the sentences and words that do not make sense.
However, there are actually certain steps and processes for real modification, such as the first step is to check and improve the story level, and the second step is to modify the characters......
