During the Spring Festival transportation period, the EMU adopted additional trains and reconnected operations to increase the transportation capacity, which made the operation volume of the TEDS video analysis group increase sharply. Their workload reached more than 300 groups, an increase of about 100 groups compared with the usual workload, and more than 1.4 million dynamic images of EMUs were transmitted back in real time every day.

"Taking the 8 trains of the Fuxing standard EMU as an example, 4,721 pictures were sent back, and there were tens of thousands of parts to be monitored, and we had to complete the analysis of 590 image data within 3 minutes. Video analyst Lu Yali said.

The busy Spring Festival work, coupled with the impact of the cold wave weather, has brought great pressure and challenges to the work of TEDS video analysts.

In order to meet the travel needs of passengers during the Spring Festival transportation period, 113 EMUs were launched in this section during the peak period, and 14 additional intersections were opened during the night peak period, and the disposable online rate of EMUs reached 100%. During the 40 days of the Spring Festival, it is expected that 450 EMUs will pass through the TEDS detection station of the Chongqing railway hub every day, an increase of more than 20% compared with usual.
