Jinlongshan Ski Resort is the training base of the national ski team named by the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China. Since its operation, the cumulative number of people participating in ice and snow sports has reached one million. It has hosted the National Snowboard Halfpipe Championships and Championships, the National Freestyle Skiing Halfpipe Championships, the National Freestyle Skiing Aerials Championships and other top national winter events for 8 consecutive years.
On the track, the athletes are undergoing the final adaptation training before the race.
As the "14th Winter" competition venue, Zhalantun Jinlongshan Ski Resort covers an area of 100 hectares, with an altitude of 582 meters, an average temperature of minus 12 degrees Celsius in winter, and an effective ski period of up to 130 days. The ski mountaineering competition will be held from January 30 to February 1, with three events: men's sprint, women's sprint and mixed relay in the open group, which is also the first time that ski mountaineering will be featured at the National Winter Games.
