In recent years, Xichong County has adjusted the agricultural industrial structure according to local conditions, and guided farmers to use the idle land under the fruit trees to plant cash crops such as "Erjingtiao" peppers and the vegetable pressing industry in three seasons. "In the past, our village was mainly engaged in the cultivation of citrus. Due to the long growth cycle and slow effect of citrus trees, in order to make up for the gap period before citrus fruiting, we use the idle land under the citrus trees to rotate short-term cash crops in rotation for three seasons a year, so that the land is not empty, effectively improving land utilization, increasing yield per unit area, and achieving greater economic benefits on limited land.
