Zhao Haiming told reporters that maintenance is to make the air compressor work better, and all the machinery and equipment in the water plant have strict daily maintenance time and maintenance requirements. The filter station workshop belongs to the workshop with the most valves, and all the valves in the workshop need to be powered by the air compressor, so the status of the air compressor is equivalent to the "heart" of the workshop. If there is a problem with the air compressor, it will directly affect the water supply of the water plant. Under normal circumstances, the air compressor can run continuously for 2000 hours after a comprehensive maintenance.
"Water purification, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, pressurization, when we unscrew the tap at home, the tap water that flows out has gone through 5 process steps in the water plant. According to Gao Tieqiang, deputy director of Tiexi Water Plant, the water supply of Tiexi Water Plant is about 170,000 tons a day, which is responsible for more than 70% of the city's total water supply demand. In order to ensure the smooth operation of water supply production, since the beginning of winter, the water plant has carried out a comprehensive inspection of key areas such as pump rooms, dosing rooms, and filter stations, and has started the low-temperature antifreeze protection mode for exposed pipes, valves, instruments, etc.
The period around the Spring Festival, especially before the Spring Festival, is the peak time for public water consumption. In order to ensure a stable and sufficient water supply, the machinery and power supply equipment of the water supply production line in the factory will be maintained in a targeted manner according to the use of the equipment in addition to real-time monitoring. According to Zhang Lin, the person in charge of the water quality monitoring center, the municipal water supply company is very concerned about the quality of raw water, and has increased the detection of raw water and factory water iron, manganese, ammonia nitrogen, oxygen consumption, pH value and other items, and increased the testing frequency from 1 time per month to 4 times a month as required by the national standard. In view of the characteristics of low turbidity, high algae and high organic matter of river water during the peak water supply period, the company strengthens the detection of process water, factory water and pipe network water of the water plant to ensure that the water quality meets the standards. In view of the water quality characteristics of the cold winter, the water quality center strictly implements the water quality testing process, strengthens process control, pays close attention to the water quality changes of raw water, incoming and outgoing water, pipe network water and other links, and will immediately start emergency testing in case of water quality problems to ensure that the drinking water quality of residents in winter meets the standards.
