Sun Jun introduced that due to the active plateau trough, the southern branch trough is deep, and the weather situation is high in the east and low in the west, which is conducive to the northward movement of warm and humid airflow, and at the same time, the Jianghuai cyclone will form and move to the northeast, which is conducive to the formation of a wide range of heavy rain and snow weather.
From January 31 to February 5, there was snowfall in the eastern part of Northwest China, North China, Northeast China, Huanghuai and other places, Jianghan, western and northern Jianghuai, northwest Hunan, central and northern Guizhou and other places, with moderate to heavy snow in most of the above-mentioned places, blizzard in some areas, local heavy snowfall or extremely heavy snowfall, moderate to heavy rain in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and south, and heavy rain in some areas.
