There are 6 major precursors of hypertension in young and middle-aged people
Now, young and middle-aged people, especially those aged 30~40, are the main group of people with high blood pressure!
Why is high blood pressure getting younger?
1. Congenital factors
It refers to three factors: genetics (family history of high blood pressure), gender and age (males ≥ 55 years old and postmenopausal females).
2. Acquired environmental factors
Bad lifestyle habits such as overweight or obesity, high sodium diet or insufficient potassium intake, insufficient exercise, high mental stress, lack of sleep, smoking and excessive alcohol consumption will affect blood pressure, and 70%-80% of hypertension occurs due to bad lifestyle habits.
