According to Chevrolet dealers, the all-new Explorer family (gasoline, PHEV and Equinox EV) will be launched in June. The gasoline version will be equipped with the same 1.5T engine as the Buick LaCrosse (with different parameter tuning), ;P HEV version will be available in 100km/140km pure electric range versions, and the Equinox EV will have a maximum range of 620km. The salesman said that according to the pricing strategy of Chevrolet's new model, the fuel version is expected to be sold from 169,900 yuan.

The all-new Explorer features a similar exterior design to the Trailblazer, with split headlamps and a larger grille. The PHEV version is available with dual RS/ACTIV exterior and is equipped with automatic at all-terrain tires and a suspended roof. Adopting the new design language of the Chevrolet brand, the Equinox EV offers a dual RS/STD exterior with hidden door handles/floating roofs, illuminated light strips, and a new generation interior design with an 11+17VCS giant screen.

The gasoline version is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a maximum output of 127 kW from the LAX model, and is expected to continue to be mated to a six-speed automatic manual transmission. The PHEV version is equipped with a 1.5T engine + electric motor + 2DHT hybrid gearbox, and the lithium-ion iron phosphate battery is provided by BYD's Fodi Battery.
