The one I introduce to you today is a prodigy of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period, and a young genius known as a "prodigy" together with Cao Cao's youngest son Cao Chong - Zhou Budo. Zhou Budo's words in the official history have 'Wenzhi' and 'Yuanzhi' two sayings, in history he showed his talent at a young age, and lived with his uncle Liu Xian when he was young. Liu was first the commander of Jingzhou Mu Liu Biao, and later Jingzhou was broken by Cao Cao, and Zhou Budo also took refuge with Cao Cao with his uncle.
Zhou Budo's uncle Liu Xian initially persuaded Liu Biao to attach himself to Cao Cao after Cao Cao attacked Yuan Shao, but Liu Biao did not adopt it after considering it, and sent Liu Xian to Xu Du to refute Cao Cao's criticism of Liu Biao. Later, Liu Biao died of illness, Cao Cao led a large army to attack, and finally under the impetus of Cai Mao and others, Liu Biao's youngest son Liu Cong surrendered to Cao Cao. Liu Xian was admired by Cao Cao because of his style when he was an envoy to Xu Du before, and he was also appointed as a scholar after surrendering to Cao Cao. Zhou Budo also had a good life in Cao Wei, because he was also a genius, he had a very good relationship with Cao Chong, the relationship between the two was irreversible, and Cao Cao also loved Zhou Budo very much, and he liked it even more after repeated school examinations.
But the good times did not last long, Cao Chong died of a violent illness in the thirteenth year of Jian'an, although Cao Cao was very sad, but he still arranged Cao Chong's funeral. Then in the face of Zhou Budo's attitude, Cao Cao directly changed from love to killing, because Zhou Budo was too smart, he was so smart that Cao Cao felt that Cao Pi couldn't control it at all, and Cao Cao wanted to kill Zhou Budo after Cao Chong's death, but Cao Pi was stupid to go to the admonition, thinking that no matter how smart Zhou Budo was, he was a child, and there was no need to be so exaggerated, but he was directly reprimanded by Cao Cao: "If Cao Chong falls, it's okay, Zhou Budo is not a person like you who can play with it." So soon after, Zhou Budo was assassinated.
Zhou Budo was only seventeen years old when he died, he was the best candidate to assist Cao Chong in Cao Cao's eyes, and he was also a huge potential risk for Cao Pi to ascend to the throne in Cao Cao's eyes, so Zhou Budo died. Cao Cao also wanted to marry his daughter to Zhou Budo before, but Zhou Budo refused, and Zhou Budo also took Liucheng for Cao Cao on paper. This is what Cao Cao liked about Zhou Budo before, and it is also the reason why he wants to get rid of Zhou Budo in the future.
