It is impossible to win universal recognition for this kind of extreme thinking, which carries the banner of "patriotism" and suppresses economic vitality for dirty purposes.

Xi'an Huaqing Pond (Palace), I have the impression that I have been there at least twice.

On the way to visit, you must pass by a nude sculpture of Yang Guifei. Every time I see it, I don't think it matches the surrounding attractions, but I don't care much about it.

On the contrary, I saw many tourists vying to take photos in front of the statue, and some people even put their hands on the chest of the concubine, thinking that it was very vulgar.

This incident has also been reported in the media. It is said that the staff of the scenic spot are miserable, and the more they persuade, the more people touch. I didn't pay attention to what was written on the reminder board of the concubine sculpture, someone took a photo, and it said "Civilized photography, concubine rejoices".

It can be seen that this kind of trend has been around for a long time and has become a chronic disease.

Unexpectedly, now someone jumped out and said that the sculpture was bare-chested and exposed, which was very indecent. In online voting, there are still many people who support this argument. That's hilarious. What is wrong with the scenic spot, and why is the noble concubine innocent, causing a commotion for no reason? If you want to say that it is uncivilized, isn't it those tourists who behave rudely?

Yang Guifei's coffin board was almost unbearable.

01

What makes people frightened is that even if they are criticized so rudely, the staff of the scenic spot cannot politely say that they will record the relevant suggestions and reflect them to the higher authorities.

There is certainly nothing wrong with respecting all opinions. However, there is a kind of thinking hidden behind this, that is, in the face of some so-called "public opinion", many people would rather choose to remain silent than dare to uphold the right path with confidence.

Why am I wary of this kind of thinking?

According to this kind of thinking, the sculptures of ancient Greece and Rome must be destroyed, and many artistic sculptures in our public places are also worrying. And I know that this sculpture has come a long way from standing here, to people being surprised and even willing to "get in touch".

For a long time in the past, not to mention nude sculptures, even scantily clad women and kiss photos on the cover of magazines, they would be criticized as "poisonous weeds" and labeled as "bourgeois liberalization".

In fact, it is against this background that China's reform and opening up has gradually dispelled ultra-leftist thinking, pried open up space little by little, and then burst out with strong vitality.

As a post-70s generation who has completely experienced the process of reform and opening up, this is the history we have witnessed. Now some people act as "guardians" and want to return to the closed and conservative days of the past, which is harmful to others and themselves at worst, and at worst to mislead the country and the people.

This kind of ultra-left thinking often uses the banner of "patriotism" and seemingly absolutely correct slogans to disrupt people's livelihood and attract traffic.

For example, recently, a shopping mall in Nanjing held a year-end promotional campaign and posted promotional patterns inside the mall, but it was angrily denounced as the "rising sun flag" of Japanese militarism. "This is Nanjing, China, not Tokyo, Japan, what are you doing with these things?"

For a while, there was another wave of righteous indignation and fierce condemnation on the Internet.

In the end, the mall, which was alleged to be "very hard capital", had to withdraw its promotional materials, stating that "we must deeply reflect and strengthen the review and management of cultural propaganda."

In the face of powerful online public opinion, shopping malls have no room for justification and appeal, so they can only bow their heads and admit their mistakes. However, is it true that this shopping mall has posted the "Rising Sun Flag" with the color of Japanese militarism? Is the design of these advertising patterns really malicious insulting to China?

In fact, this so-called "patriot" who questioned the mall was the one who deliberately hid the truth.

Just looking at the photos taken by the skeptics, one can feel that the color tone and style of these patterns do have the shadow of "Japanese culture", but when you look at the overall design pattern, you will see that this is not the case at all.

The so-called "Red Sun" and "Rising Sun Flag", in the overall design, are nothing more than fireworks representing a festive atmosphere and a red circular pattern representing red and reunited. In the festival cultural and creative design, red with gold is the most popular element, this design style can be seen everywhere, there is nothing new to say.

In addition, the angle and number of rays of the "Rising Sun Flag" are different from the design pattern of the shopping mall, not all red circles are "red sun", and not all of the rays are "Rising Sun Flag". In this way, all design elements with sun and light become "sensitives".

Even the editors of the observer network couldn't stand this matter, and posted articles and videos, pointing out that "Nanjing shopping malls were maliciously fabricated 'Rising Sun Flag', and 'low-level red' should not have traffic".

The fact that the Observer Network has to draw a line with it shows how disdain it is for malicious attackers.

02

There is more than one similar case of fabricating charges and attacking innocent people through deliberate editing.

Just half a month ago, an advertising poster at Tinghong Road Station of Nanning Metro Line 2 was also reported as the "Japanese Rising Sun Flag".

Judging from the network map,"Red sun""Rays"And other elements are there,But after the storm blows,Careful people find that the network map presents only a deliberately cropped picture,The so-called "Rising Sun Flag" turned out to be the fan bone part of the folding fan in the propaganda poster released by the China Sports Lottery.

Therefore, a comment from China Youth Daily reprinted on CCTV bluntly said that this is chasing after the wind, taking quotes out of context, taking the rhythm out of context, and deliberately provoking trouble.

Despite this, Nanning Metro officials could only take down the advertisement as soon as possible, claiming that it would "further improve the level of advertising management". Obviously yes, they have to bow their heads, and in the face of the menacing "report", most units, enterprises, and individuals can only swallow their anger. And the more this is the case, the more it encourages the arrogance of some people.

In fact, these people shout "patriotism" on their lips, and all they think about is business. Now many people also understand, and they often complain about this company and that business, just to win eyeballs and harvest traffic.

There are more people on the Internet, and it is normal for different voices to appear. But this is obviously not a natural presentation of online public opinion, the fact is that this part of the voice is getting louder and louder, overpowering more rational, objective and calm voices.

Allowing these people to mess around will not only directly damage the legitimate rights and interests of businesses, but also cause far greater harm. The Internet is everywhere. When this kind of farce spreads outside, what do people think about it?

If even a nude statue can't accommodate it, and even the normal promotional activities of merchants will be put online, this will inevitably make people wonder, is this still an open, tolerant and enthusiastic China?

If you want me to say, this is the voice of the real "singing empty China". With these people wantonly attacking businesses and enterprises under the banner of "patriotism", how can businesses do business with peace of mind, and how can foreign capital invest with confidence?

03

For some time now, many people have been reluctant to talk about similar sensitive topics in public. One of the reasons is that it's not worth it to fight these people, and you can't afford to provoke them.

People who are normally working and doing business, who can afford to be pestered by others every day, and who can go online? "Can't afford to provoke and hide" has become a common social mentality.

However, knowing that this phenomenon has a very bad impact on society and the country, why can't we speak out openly and boldly? Is it also irresponsible to remain silent about such a blatant evil?

I edited a book, Rediscovering Reform, about how the country rebuilt its market economy and prospered in a "wasteland."

Reform and opening up did not fall from the sky, but a way out of the cracks. In the early days of the reform, even Yun did not allow the opening of self-employed businesses, and how many workers a factory could employ caused one uproar after another. Looking back, it's really a long way to go.

For my generation, at least for me, reform and opening up is a kind of faith, which has long been integrated into the spiritual blood of individuals. Therefore, I am convinced that this kind of extreme thinking, which carries the banner of "patriotism" and suppresses economic vitality for dirty purposes, cannot win universal acceptance.

That's why I've been thinking about it for a long time, and I'm still going to say something. Really, these "patriotic thieves" can no longer be allowed to jump up and down and hijack public sentiment.
