On January 20, the Guinness World Record Challenge of "Playing the Top with the Most People at the Same Time" was successfully held in the Songhua River Ecological Tourism Scenic Area in Jingyu County.
At the site of the cultural tourism project of "Snow Valley Market on the Songhua River" in the Songhua River Ecological Tourism Scenic Area, 1946 people wore uniform clothing, brandished whips and twitched spinning tops at the same time. The scene was crowded and full of lively and festive atmosphere.
Jingyu County is located at the western foot of Changbai Mountain, the upper reaches of the Songhua River, is not only the "gateway" to enter the Changbai Mountain, but also the distribution center and destination of Songhua River tourism, known as the "famous mineral spring city", "heroic holy land", "northern medicine capital" and "forest kingdom" reputation, is the birthplace of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Federation, one of the main battlefields of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Federation, and the cultural connotation of the Anti-Japanese Federation is rich.
In 1946, in order to commemorate Yang Jingyu, commander-in-chief of the First Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Army and national hero, Mengjiang County was renamed Jingyu County. A total of 1,946 people attended the event, and this number is also to commemorate this meaningful time. On the same day, Ma Jimin, the grandson of General Yang Jingyu, also attended the event together.
Ms. Wu Xiaohong, a Guinness World Certification Officer in China, said that the Guinness World Record for "the most people playing with a spinning top at the same time" contains the rules that participants must use a standard spinning top, all participants must play with a spinning top at the same time for at least 5 minutes, and that challengers who do not actively participate will not be counted in the total. Through the unity and cooperation of many participants and unremitting efforts, the original record of 1,000 people was successfully broken.

It is understood that the first China Jilin Songhua River Ice Marathon Challenge will be held from January 30 to February 3 in Jingyu County Songhua River Ecological Tourism Scenic Area, through the "1 + 10 + 10" model, that is, with the ice skating marathon as the main body, 10 ice and snow sports events and 10 ice and snow experience activities will be carried out simultaneously, and the Songhua River winter ice and snow event carnival will be fully created. The 10 sports events are divided into professional sports events and mass sports events, including the Ice Skating Marathon Challenge, the Ice and Snow Marathon Challenge, the Snow Bike Marathon Challenge, the Ice Dragon Boat Super League and the Cross-Country Skiing Exhibition Race, and the mass sports events include the Snowmobile Exhibition Race, the 100-meter Ice Plow Race, the Snow Yobo Ball Competition, the Ice Monkey Pumping Exhibition Competition, the Snow Soccer Match and the Ice and Snow Yangge Competition, with an estimated 7,000 athletes.
