Li Zhaolin was born in Liaoyang County, Liaoning Province in 1910, after the 918 Incident, he accepted the baptism of revolution, joined the Anti-Japanese People's Salvation Association, successively participated in the anti-Japanese national salvation activities in Pingxi, and after returning home, he organized to participate in the Anti-Japanese Volunteer Army and participated in the Anti-Japanese United Nations team.
In 1935, Li Zhaolin met Jin Bowen in the same team of the Anti-Japanese Federation, as the commander of the team, although Li Zhaolin had seen many big scenes, but he was speechless when facing Jin Bowen.
Jin Bowen also admired this brave and warlike army commander, and in this way, the two fell in love and married in 1937. After getting married, the two studied together, made progress together, and fought together, and were famous "revolutionary mandarin ducks" in the army.
In 1939, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression entered a white-hot state, and at this time, the Japanese army was in full swing on the Songnen Plain. In the face of the Japanese army, which was several times the enemy and had stronger weapons and equipment than ours, the Northeast Anti-Japanese Federation was obviously at a disadvantage.
The Japanese army also wanted to find an opportunity to eliminate the anti-union forces in one fell swoop, so they organized many "encirclement and suppression".
On one occasion, the Japanese army trapped the anti-coalition forces deep in the mountains and blocked all the roads down the mountain. The Japanese army understood that although this place was easy to defend and difficult to attack, as long as they surrounded the anti-union team, they could be trapped in this deep mountain and old forest.
Soon, the anti-union team ran out of food. Li Zhaolin tried every means to collect grain and grass for the troops, but it was still a drop in the bucket and could not supply it at all. So, Li Zhaolin led the troops to borrow grain from the villagers in the mountains, or dig wild vegetables and eat grass roots.
In 1940, Jin Bowen was pregnant, and Li Zhaolin was happy and sad. The happy thing is that he is finally going to be a father, but the sad thing is that their situation is not optimistic now, the army has been out of food for several months, where to find food for his wife.
But Kim Bowen never complained, ate and lived with the soldiers, and did not think of himself as a pregnant woman in the slightest. The warriors also took good care of Jin Bowen, and sent her any fresh wild vegetables as long as they wanted.

Fortunately, the placenta fell off during the transfer of Kim Bowen, which saved her life, but Kim Bowen also fell ill because of this, and he would bleed as long as he moved a little.
Li Zhaolin was naturally worried about his wife, but he couldn't do anything about it, and under such conditions, where could he go to find a doctor? Jin Bowen forgave Li Zhaolin and always comforted him, saying that he would be able to recover after a while.
Seeing their thin son, although the husband and wife felt very uncomfortable, they still gave their son a very "baby" name - Li Yu, which means that their son is as precious as jade.

Cigarette paste is a consumable, the wounded of the troops are increasing, and slowly the cigarette paste is running out, and the child's cry is getting louder and louder, attracting two more Japanese soldiers...... Looking at the children and thinking about the soldiers, Li Zhaolin made a very difficult decision.
One day, Li Zhaolin took advantage of Jin Bowen's rest, and came to a cave in the deep mountains alone with the child, only to see him put some cigarette paste on the child's lips, kiss him, put the child down, and then returned to the army step by step.
When Jin Bowen woke up, there was no child anywhere, and when she saw Li Zhaolin hurrying back, she seemed to know something, and then asked tremblingly, "Where is the child?"
Li Zhaolin said that he threw the child into the cave, Jin Bowen cried and ran out of the house to the cave to find the child, Li Zhaolin took out a gun and pointed it at Jin Bowen and said: "We can have another child, I will not risk the lives of my brothers, if you bring him back, I will kill him!"
Jin Bowen calmed down at this time, just silently shed tears, and she also understood this truth.
When an old soldier in the army heard about it, he couldn't bear it, so he secretly took the child back. Jin Bowen then took the child to Heilongjiang, but at this time, her legs were unable to walk because of postpartum weakness, and the child was also sent to a nursery for treatment due to malnutrition.
Unfortunately, the child died.
Although Li Zhaolin and Jin Bowen finally waited for the day when Japan surrendered, they lost their dear son. What is even more regrettable is that Li Zhaolin did not see the founding of New China, and in 1946, he was killed by Kuomintang agents at the age of 36.
