In order to conscientiously implement the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on doing a good job during the Spring Festival on New Year's Day in 2024, and ensure the Spring Festival travel of key groups such as students and migrant workers, the railway 12306 innovative service measures have launched a ticketing service area for students and migrant workers. Starting from January 10, eligible student passengers (who have passed the student preferential qualification verification and have the remaining preferential rides) can make an appointment to purchase train tickets during the Spring Festival travel period (January 26 to March 5) through the "Special Service for Student Winter Vacation Ticket Booking" area, and each passenger can submit up to 6 reservation orders at the same time, and each order can add a combination of 20 "train number + seats" on one travel date, and the optional seats are the hard seats, hard sleepers, and second-class seats applicable to student discount tickets. Migrant workers who have passed the real-name verification can make an appointment to purchase train tickets during the Spring Festival travel through the "Reservation and Booking Service for Migrant Workers", and each passenger can submit 6 reservation orders at the same time, and each order can choose 1 combination of "time + train number + seat".
Students and migrant workers can submit their travel ticket purchase requirements for more than 17 days (inclusive) before the departure of the railway through the 12306 railway area during the Spring Festival travel period, and can reserve a ticket for March 5 at the latest. Eligible passengers can submit ticket purchase requirements on the 12306 mobile client before 23 o'clock 17 days before departure, and inquire about the redemption result 16 days before departure, and must pay the ticket through the reservation area of the 12306 mobile client before 23 o'clock on the 16th day before the departure.
