Rambutan is a genus of the genus Shaozi of the family Apocynaceae, also known as: Lychee, Shaozi, Red Fruit, And Red Gall. Tropical fruit trees, native to Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and other places. There are introduced species in Taiwan and Hainan, and wild rambutan in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan.
