Mr. Cui told reporters that at about 17 o'clock on the 8th, his wife was found. The 5-year-old daughter "hugged her mother and cried, and missed her mother so much".

According to previous reports, on January 5, Mr. Cui told reporters that in February 2023, his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and subsequently underwent surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted drug treatment. Recently, his wife had an upset thyroid and throat and suspected that cancer cells had metastasized in her body, "She didn't believe in the hospital examination, she was a little in a bad mood, like depression, and she didn't sleep every night." ”

On the afternoon of January 2, when Mr. Cui returned home from work, he found that his wife had left a "suicide note": "Let me take care of my children and family, and I still have a password such as a bank card account number in the middle." After chemotherapy, his wife's hair began to fall out, "and it grew back a little longer than the average man's hair, and she left home without a wig." ”
His wife's mobile phone was also turned off, and then Mr. Cui called the police to look for it, and more than 20 relatives and friends at home also went out to look for her, "I hope she will go home quickly." The staff of the Harbin Red Cross Volunteer Service Detachment who participated in the search told reporters that in addition to some residential buildings in Yongtai City, there are also large "wild land" nearby.
