What have you been busy with lately during the year-end and New Year holidays?
Recently, I just finished a new play, and as soon as I flew back to Beijing, I came to the studio to shoot magazines. At the same time, I was also filming a military-themed drama in Sichuan, called "The White Olive Tree".
What are your keywords for the past year?
Change. I'm going to be 28 years old this year, and I've experienced a lot of ups and downs over the years, and I've had a big change in mentality. I used to be relatively young and had poor stress resistance, but as I experienced more things, I have slowly matured in the past two years. When I first debuted, I filmed a lot of costume dramas, and I was also ignorant, I hope to let everyone see more different me.
Are you still happy with your current state?
Quite satisfied. In the first two years, I was a little anxious and anxious, thinking about why my work was not so satisfactory, and I would have a sense of powerlessness. Since last year, I've been trying to adjust my mindset and be steady, down-to-earth, which is very important.
Tell us about your new book, The White Olive Tree.
This is a military-themed drama that I have never tried, I play a captain, he is a sunny, honest, kind person, and at the same time very good at taking care of people, just like everyone's brother.
What preparations have you made for participating in this drama?
When you're playing a soldier, you need to be able to calm down and then fully immerse yourself in the role. Because it was my first time playing a military role, sometimes I couldn't handle the "degree" of performance, so I was constantly adjusting my state. Before the official start-up, we trained for nearly 20 days in advance and participated in military training to find out the feeling of a soldier and allow ourselves to better figure out the role.

The other "Daydream Confessions" is a lighter theme.
That's right, it's also my first time doing a lighthearted comedy. My character is a writer, and at first he won the love of many fans with his handsome appearance and mastery of traffic passwords, but he also had some arrogance. In the later years, he gradually matured and completed his own growth.
You majored in musical theatre, and after so many years of acting, do you often think about your dreams about music?
I will think of the days when I came to Beijing with my mother to study vocal music and take the entrance examination. Although I have experienced a lot of hardships, I am very happy that I have been able to persevere through hard work, driven by my dreams, accompanied by my mother and supported by my family. Later, I was admitted to the Musical Theatre Department of the Central Academy of Drama, also thinking that I could combine music and performance at the same time. Although I haven't acted in musicals since my debut, the connection between me and music is still quite close, I have also released some singles, and I also participated in the variety show "La La Land" last year, which is a musical theater performance program, I came to participate in this show, which is to complete the dream of a musical and regain the persistence and original intention of the dream of musicals.

What kind of person are you in life?
I have a very easy-going personality, but also a very cheerful personality, and I love to talk and laugh. But I'm not an "E person", in fact, I am an "I person". In my daily life, I like to calm down, catch up on dramas, and go out to travel.
Not long ago, you also started recording vlogs to record your life.
I have always liked to use my mobile phone to record some interesting places in my life, and now there is a form of Vlog, which can share the bits and pieces of life with you, and I hope you can gain happiness from my videos. Now when I go back to the crew, other actors and staff in the same group will tell me that they will watch my Vlog again and talk to everyone about where they have been recently. After a while, when I look back at my previous Vlog, I can still feel the happiness at that time.

When did you start working out?
When I was a kid, I was a very thin person, and I started exercising at the age of fifteen or sixteen, hoping to get a little bit fitter. Truly systematic and scientific fitness only began in the first two years. I may be a bit obsessive-compulsive now, as long as I have time, I will exercise, I will feel uncomfortable if I don't move for a day, and I will arrange time to practice when I am busy with work.
What type of character do you want to try next?
I haven't tried the role of a super perverted villain, but it's the kind of character that is very dark inside, and I feel that the challenge will be particularly cool.

At the beginning of the new year, what are your wishes and requirements for 2024?
The most important thing is to be safe and healthy, I hope that the people I love and those who love me can be healthy and happy, and I also hope that I can receive more good dramas and roles this year. The requirement is that I can be more mature.
