The poetry in the country of Furong is full of poetry, and the chairman's hometown is full of painting. On the morning of January 6, the award ceremony of the "Furong Didi Cup" Poetry Contest of the Hunan Provincial Political and Legal System was held in Changsha Didi Building. Kang Weimin, former president of the Hunan Provincial High People's Court and chief senior researcher of the Provincial Political and Legal System Calligraphy, Painting and Poetry Research Association, Peng Xiangxi, former executive deputy secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and member of the presidium of the Provincial Political and Legal System Calligraphy, Painting and Poetry Research Association, attended the event, and more than 60 award-winning representatives and guests attended the event.
In order to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong's birth and cherish the memory of Mao Zedong and other great achievements and noble demeanor, the Poetry Branch of the Hunan Provincial Political and Legal System Calligraphy, Painting and Poetry Research Association will hold a poetry contest as its annual key work, and officially launch the contest in November 2023, which has received enthusiastic responses and enthusiastic contributions from cadres and police officers in the political and legal system of the province and poetry lovers across the country. As of December 20, more than 390 entries have been received.

At the event site, after the review team reviewed and evaluated all the entries one by one, 6 invited awards, 2 first prizes, 11 second prizes, 20 third prizes, and 40 excellence awards were produced. These award-winning works will be edited and published as a collection of outstanding poems to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Mao Zedong's birth.
Chen Ling, chairman of the Poetry Branch of the Hunan Provincial Political and Legal System Calligraphy, Painting and Poetry Research Association, said: "The theme of the entries is prominent, full of positive energy, and expresses the deep memory of Chairman Mao. Many works also combine their own work to express patriotic feelings and promote red culture, fully demonstrating the strong will and determination of the majority of political and legal cadres and poetry lovers to cherish today's happy life, live up to the trust of the motherland and the people, protect peace and stability, and defend fairness and justice."
