On January 6, the 2024 Hubei Yuan'an Wuling Xiakou Automobile Venue Race was held in the Wuling Xiakou Ecological Tourism Zone of Yuan'an County, and more than 100 racers from all over the country staged an "off-road racing" on the spot, presenting a thrilling visual feast for the audience.

The cross-country race is divided into professional group, open group, plain car group, and women's group, and the competition follows the general rules of automobile competition such as the FIA off-road race. The track uses the unique natural landform of Wuling Gorge to build 15 difficult obstacle points, such as puddles, swamps, V-shaped troughs, and three peaks.

Yuan'an is located in the mountainous area of western Hubei Province, taking the lead in Hubei Province to open a global tourism demonstration, creating a number of characteristic brand festivals such as the Ancestral Cultural Tourism Festival and the Field Marathon, and has held national automobile venue off-road races for many times, attracting more than 40,000 tourists.
