Driving Strategy: Arriving and Leaving the "Double Streamline"
During the launch of the pedestrian street, the 250-meter-long Daxue Road (Jinchuang Road-Zhixing Road) will be open to traffic at the intersection of Daxue Road, Jinchuang Road, Jinjia Road, and Zhixing Road.
In order to ensure the normal travel of residents around Daxue Road, the traffic function of Jinjia Road in the middle section of the pedestrian street is retained, so as to maximize the organic combination of motor vehicle and non-motor vehicle travel needs and the spatial activity needs of the pedestrian street.
In order to cooperate with the vehicle detour during the implementation of the pedestrian street, the Shanghai traffic police and the Yangpu District Construction Management Committee have implemented road widening on some sections of Jinjia Road, except for Zhengmin Road, which still maintains one-way traffic from east to west, Weikang Road and Weicheng Road around Daxue Road can be used for motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles in both directions.
For transit and arrival from east to west, departing vehicles can detour along Wai Shing Road, Kam Ka Road, Wai Hong Road and Kam Chong Road, and from west to east, departing vehicles can detour along Zhengmin Road, Kam Nian Road and Kam Ka Road.
Parking strategy: take multiple measures to be "more efficient"
Drivers of cross-border motor vehicles and non-motorized cyclists can detour in advance according to the traffic signs set up by the Shanghai traffic police at the intersection of Zhengmin Road, Zhengmin Road, Daxue Road, Zhixing Road and the intersection of neighborhood roads.
