author:Qin Lao said science and technology

As we all know, among the winners of the "Two Bombs and One Satellite", there are many scientists who have made great contributions to China, including Qian Xuesen, Deng Jiaxian, Yu Min and so on. Among them, a famous scientist has also made great contributions to the mainland's two bombs and one satellite, and he is Yao Tongbin, the mainland's two bombs and one satellite.

Yao Tongbin, who was beaten to death by gangsters at the age of 46, was successfully caught in 11 years before he succeeded in catching the real culprit

Yao Tongbin, as one of the first experts in aerospace materials technology and the leader of aerospace technology in Chinese history, was in the prime of life, but suddenly suffered a catastrophe, and was beaten to death by reactionary academics for no reason at the age of 46. In the 11 years since, Yao Tongbin's wife has been looking for the real culprit, and finally roped him up in accordance with the law and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

In 1922, Yao Tongbin was born in an ordinary peasant family in Wuxi, Jiangsu. However, because Yao Tongbin's family is very poor, the road to school is also very bumpy. When he was in elementary school, Yao Tongbin never forgot his knowledge and studied very hard Xi. However, when entering junior high school Xi, the family could not afford the high tuition fees and had to drop out.

However, due to Yao Tongbin's excellent academic Xi grades, the principal of the school came to Yao Tongbin's father many times for ideological persuasion and promised to reduce part of the tuition fees. In the end, Yao Tongbin's father let him continue to go to school. During this period, Yao Tongbin often went to collect the works of some foreign scientists, and borrowed them from the bookstall when he had no money.

At the age of 17, Yao Tongbin, who had outstanding academic Xi performance, was successfully admitted to Southwest Jiaotong University. During his college years, Yao Tongbin met the most important Bole in his life, and came into contact with experimental equipment that could only be seen in books before, which also provided him with a very broad space for development.

After years of hard work, Yao Tongbin successfully graduated with the first grade in the whole grade, and was assigned to work in the National Research Institute, engaged in materials research. Although Yao Tongbin was full of enthusiasm, due to the very limited scientific level in China at that time, if he wanted to conduct higher-level research, he needed to go abroad for further study and Xi.

Fortunately, Yao Tongbin successfully obtained a place to study at the national public expense, and then went to the train to study in the UK. Due to the language barrier, Yao Tongbin can only learn Xi new knowledge during the day, and try to connect with his English speaking ability at night. After 3 years, Yao Tongbin's fluent London accent is very admired by the British.

After studying abroad, Yao Tongbin went to European countries to study in order to master more advanced technology, and also received the attention of a large number of foreign experts. Among them, a research institute in Germany also threw an olive branch of invitation to Yao Tongbin and hired him with a high salary. During his work, Yao Tongbin still pays attention to the development of China every day.

With the founding of New China, Yao Tongbin's mood of wanting to return to China could no longer be calmed, so he decided to quit his job and return to China to contribute his own strength. Who would have thought that after Yao Tongbin's plan was known by Germany, he didn't want the talents he had worked so hard to cultivate to leave, and after many negotiations with him, he successfully agreed to Yao Tongbin's return to China.

After returning to China, Yao Tongbin successfully entered the national aerospace department. Due to the fact that New China had just been established at that time, the development of the domestic aerospace field was almost blank, and there was an extreme lack of aerospace materials. Therefore, Yao Tongbin, who was born in materials, led his colleagues to start the development of aerospace raw materials.

After Yao Tongbin and many other scientists worked day and night, after repeated calculations, it only took two months to successfully develop the brazing alloy required for aerospace. Not only that, Yao Tongbin has also proposed more than 500 scientific research topics, all of which can be applied to national rocket launch and satellite launch projects.

It is precisely because of this that the research on related topics proposed by Yao Tongbin has largely filled the technological gap in the field of aviation science and technology in the mainland. While everything was going very well, Yao Tongbin suddenly suffered misfortune.

In 1968, Yao Tongbin returned home after a day's work. Unexpectedly, Yao Tongbin, who was resting at home, was directly beaten with an iron rod by the gangsters who suddenly broke into his home, and even hit him in the head. After the gangsters saw Yao Tongbin lying on the ground without moving, they were so frightened that they hurriedly fled.

After his wife Peng Jieqing returned home, Yao Tongbin was no longer breathing. So, Peng Jieqing embarked on a journey to find the murderer. Eleven years later, in 1979, Yao Tongbin's killer was successfully captured and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

In 1999, because Yao Tongbin had made great contributions to the mainland's aerospace industry, the state decided to posthumously award him the "Two Bombs and One Star" Meritorious Service Medal.
