On the 6th local time, Alaska Airlines issued a statement on the official account of the social media platform that the company decided to temporarily suspend 65 Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.

After the accident, the Civil Aviation Administration of China decisively grounded the 737 MAX8, and the aircraft was subsequently grounded worldwide.

On December 29, 2023, Nandu reporters learned from the FAA that on December 28, local time, after consultation with the FAA, Boeing released information to multiple operators, asking airlines to inspect all of their 737MAX jets to determine if there is hardware that may be loose on the specific levers that control rudder movement.
