Back in September 2023, electric vehicle startup Tozz Bike partnered with Joyce Technology to develop electric vehicles, with the eye-catching Joyce'90 electric motorcycle being one of the first results of the collaboration.

The overall design of Joyce'90 seems to borrow and return to the design inspiration of the 90s of the 20th century.

Tozz revealed in a press release that it has a full-looking bodywork and that the entire product sits between an off-road bike and a station wagon. The visual beauty of the bike is accentuated in vibrant colors and further accentuated by high-contrast decals.

However, this e-motorcycle adds a modern application element and can bring mobile parties to life with a built-in Bluetooth speaker, while the nifty pop-up headlights feature RGB LEDs to set the mood.

The "scaled-down version of an electric motorcycle" also comes with some e-bike DNA. Tozz co-founder Burak Kazar said that using high-quality e-bike parts will make it easier for users to maintain them later.

"When considering the high performance of the bike, this approach allows us to create a win-win solution for our customers. An underrated but crucial topic is that creating separate special parts and tools for each project can be a huge waste of energy. In this way, we save a lot of energy. ”

The e-bike component list starts with a 750W hub motor at the rear with up to 80 Nm of torque and a top speed of 45 km/h – so it will serve as a low-powered city commuter rather than a full-fledged electric road warrior.

According to local regulations, the power limit in Europe is 250 watts and the speed is 25 km/h. A single removable battery can be charged up to 45 km per charge, but double the second battery can be chosen.

The product comes with 20-inch fat tires, a steel chassis wrapped in a polypropylene body, passenger and rider footpegs mounted on a square frame, suspension forks and rear shock absorbers help smooth out uneven terrain, disc brakes provide braking power, and a small display is located on top of the "fuel tank" for at-a-glance ride data.

The Joyce'90 will be available for pre-order this month, although price and availability have yet to be announced. The Tozz/Joyce partnership also plans to add another two-wheeled electric vehicle as well as a four-wheeler in the future.
