Juventus started 2024 in a unique way, beating Salernitana 6-1 in the round of 16 knockout rounds of the Coppa Italia to reach the quarter-finals next week.
The Bianconeri have qualified in the last 18 of the last 16 matches in the Coppa Italia.
The last time Juve scored at least six goals in a single game was back on 4 February 2018, when they beat Sassuolo 7-0 in Serie A, while the Coppa Italia came back to a 6-1 win over Verona on 15 January 2015.
Andre Cambiasso scored and assisted in a single game in Serie A and Coppa Italia for the first time. Before him, the last Italian defender to complete a pass for Juventus in a single game was Rugani, who played Udinese in Serie A on 22 October 2017.
Rugani has scored two goals in 10 games in all competitions this season, one more than his tally of 43 in the previous three seasons.
Of the Serie A players who have scored more than one goal in all competitions this season, only Aljan Ibrahimovic (December 2005) is younger than Kenan Yildiz (May 2005).
