According to comprehensive media reports, the father of the deceased woman surnamed Yu said that in July 2023, his daughter worked in Chongqing after graduating from university, and lived in Jiangnan Waterfront Public Rental Housing in Nan'an District, Chongqing before the incident.
He said that December 11 is his daughter's birthday, and he chatted with her on the video phone that night, and did not find anything abnormal, and after a few days I called her, and no one answered, and the WeChat voice call was hung up, but the WeChat can still reply normally.
The father said that he asked his daughter on WeChat why she didn't answer the phone, and replied that she was too busy with work and inconvenient. In the evening, the father called his daughter again, but still did not answer, he felt that something was wrong and began to look around for his daughter's whereabouts.
The sister of the woman surnamed Yu is studying in downtown Chongqing, and has the key to her room, and her father said that on December 20, he asked his niece to go to the sister of Yu to get the key to see the situation, and found that there was no one in the house of the woman surnamed Yu, and the room looked a little messy, and the sheets and a pillow jacket were missing, and in the early morning of December 21, we called the police to the local Changshengqiao police station for help.

At around 7 p.m. on January 4, the Chongqing Nan'an Police issued a police report saying that on December 21, 2023, they received a report from the masses that they had not been able to contact their 24-year-old daughter Yu Nu, and after investigation, the police found that the woman surnamed Yu had unfortunately been killed, and the suspect was a 25-year-old man surnamed Yu in Pengshui County, Chongqing.
After interrogation, the man surnamed Dai confessed that on the night of December 12, he knocked on the door and entered the house of a woman surnamed Yu to rob her, and later killed her.
