Jokic's ultra-long three-point shot today is more difficult than Curry's defeat of the Thunder back then!
In today's Nuggets game against the Warriors, Jokic dribbled to the midcourt with 3.6 seconds left in the game to face Looney's defense to complete a long-range three-point whistle to help the Nuggets beat the Warriors 130-127.
Jokic's long-range three-point shot is reminiscent of Curry's long-range three-point shot against the Thunder in 2016, both of them shooting near the midfield, but Curry's is on the left, and Jokic's is on the right.
In terms of difficulty, Jokic's is obviously more difficult than Curry's:
First, Curry dribbled past half court with 5.8 seconds left, 2.2 seconds more than Jokic's 3.6
Second, Curry had 2.8 seconds left on his three-pointer shot and 0.6 seconds left after making the shot, while Jokic had only 0.8 seconds left on his shot and the clock ran out after the shot.
