When you look at some sell-side industry research reports, you will find that they will build some "perfect" analysis models, and will list all the factors that affect an investment variety. But I doubt that they will actually apply this model, which is so complex that it is sometimes impossible to tell which factor is the main contradiction, or which factors cancel each other out.
When analyzing gold, I chose only the demand side of gold, especially the central bank's gold purchase. Such a simplified "model" is not comprehensive, but it is very useful. CICC has summarized a four-factor gold analysis framework, which I think is a good analytical idea. The human brain can't handle too complex things, and a perfect model is a useless model.
