In 2023, Wenshang County will build 5 new medical and elderly care institutions, and the institutions will give priority to signing service agreements with key groups such as chronic patients, poor households with registered cards, and the elderly in the jurisdiction by starting the contracted service of family doctors, and provide four key door-to-door services, including family beds, home visits, long-term care and rehabilitation, and palliative care for the seriously ill, disabled and partially disabled elderly at home. At present, 395 family doctor teams have been established, and 103,800 elderly people over 65 years old have signed contracts, with a contract rate of 90.96%.
