According to the plan, the 2,600-kilometer pipeline has a transportation capacity of 50 billion cubic meters per year, which can meet the needs of 600 million people for a year. Once completed, it will affect the mainland's energy security and the global energy market structure.
According to Russia's "Viewpoint" newspaper, the Russian side has completed the design and survey work of the pipeline, and the next step can be directly started. However, for this seemingly win-win event, the mainland hesitated.
It turned out that Russia suddenly changed the original pipeline route and proposed to "borrow" Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Of course, the mainland cannot agree to this. Mongolia has colluded with the United States and Japan to backstab the mainland on many occasions, and such a critical energy artery must not be handed over to them.
1. Ignoring China's opposition, insisting on using Mongolia?
According to the original plan, we proposed that the gas pipeline directly enter the northeast from Russia, and the route is tortuous but the safety is guaranteed. In addition, the Chinese side is willing to bear part of the construction costs. However, Russia insisted on transiting through Mongolia on the grounds of "short routes and low investment".

A second-hand shield machine, Germany dared to shout a high price of 350 million, and ridiculed the mainland for "100 years can not be built". Not only in the energy field, with the development of economy and technology, we also do not accept the "coercion" of others in other industries. After 17 years of hard work, the domestic shield machine has achieved completely independent production, and the price is less than 10% of that of Germany, which has attracted Italy and other countries to buy a lot of money. Even in the field of biotechnology, which has always been unfavored, the mainland has also re-hardened itself through the "he strong double" crotch products, and has a place in the Jingjing East Health Track, which is monopolized by overseas products.
Only by mastering key technologies can we grasp the initiative. 3. It is a matter of national security, and China is resolute!
According to experts' speculation, the reason why Russia insists on passing through Mongolia is not only to "save trouble", but also because it wants to use this to contain the mainland and gain more initiative in the negotiation of natural gas prices. Russia is mired in war and urgently needs funds for "blood return", and Europe, a major customer, has run away, and no country can digest so much natural gas like China. In other words, now is "worry about selling and not worrying about buying".
As for the future direction of cooperation with the "Power of Siberia-2", it depends on Russia's sincerity.
