The Bloomberg Green ESG 50 is a collaboration between Bloomberg Green and Deloitte and a panel of seven well-known experts from China and abroad. The selection is based on Bloomberg ESG data, combined with corporate interviews, corporate information disclosure, and the opinions of a jury of industry authoritative experts to conduct a comprehensive evaluation to find pioneers in the ESG field. The selection lasted nearly half a year, and a total of hundreds of companies signed up for the election.
Jones Lang LaSalle actively participates in the Global Climate Change Group's carbon reduction initiatives and has committed to achieving carbon neutrality globally for all of its office space by 2030 and net-zero carbon emissions for all office space, including managed client spaces, by 2040. Since 2018, Jones Lang LaSalle has been tracking and analyzing the carbon emissions of all of its global offices, and has continued to reduce carbon emissions by limiting plastics, investing in green power and new technologies. As of the second half of 2020, single-use plastics are no longer available in all Jones Lang LaSalle offices in the Asia Pacific region. In addition, JLL's 16 offices in Greater China are LEED Gold or higher.
Jones Lang LaSalle regards green, low-carbon and social welfare as an important direction to explore sustainable development. In 2022, Jones Lang LaSalle officially launched the "Parallel Library" public welfare project in China, aiming to create a multi-functional learning and Xi space for children in mountainous areas that integrates innovation, flexibility and environmental protection. The core installation of the "Parallel Library" is the "Variety Box" originally designed by Jones Lang LaSalle's project and development team, which is versatile and can be flexibly combined, and the materials and generation of the box meet the highest environmental standards to ensure the health of children, and realize the vision of creating the installation with a low-carbon and ESG concept.
Since the first "parallel library" was officially opened in Yunnan Tengchong Xinzhuang Mingde Primary School on September 1 of that year, this public welfare project has continuously gathered like-minded partners, attracted attention from all walks of life, and had a positive social impact.

Li Qianling further said, "We are very honored and deeply responsible to be selected for the 2023 Bloomberg Green Gold ESG 50 list. With 40% of the world's carbon emissions coming from the building sector, Jones Lang LaSalle, as the world's leading real estate services and investment management company, is deeply involved in all aspects of the real estate industry chain and value chain, so we have a responsibility to lead the industry in energy conservation and emission reduction and deliver positive impact." At the first Carbon Neutrality Expo held in June 2023, JLL officially released the 'Low-carbon Development Whole-Process Service' based on the whole life cycle system governance and low-carbon needs, providing a five-in-one full-cycle low-carbon development service of 'strategy + implementation + operation + industry + certification' to help customers achieve their sustainable development vision and achieve higher environmental, social and economic benefits.
Jones Lang LaSalle continues to actively build an ecosystem conducive to international dual-carbon technology exchanges, and works with partners to tackle key problems and innovate together. In 2019, Jones Lang LaSalle and ecosystem partners jointly launched China's first proptech-focused corporate alliance, UrbanLab, and since then, more and more sustainability-focused startups have joined the UrbanLab ecosystem to jointly empower sustainable buildings, spaces and people, and shape a new future of "sustainable and inclusive". In 2022, Jones Lang LaSalle officially joined China's first low-carbon office alliance initiated by Shui On Office, aiming to reduce carbon emissions generated by office space and create a sustainable, green and comfortable office environment through the alliance's power to link multiple platforms and resources.
