At the beginning of the new year, new forces such as Ideal, Leap, Wenjie, Zeekr, VOYAH, and NIO took the lead in announcing the December and annual delivery results.

Thanks to the year-end impulse and price reduction promotions, the delivery volume of new EV brands in December reached a record high, except for Aion, NIO and Nezha.

After surpassing Aion for the first time in January this year, the delivery volume of Ideal exceeded 50,000 units for the first time in December, surpassing Aion to win the championship again. Aion surpassed 51,000 units for the first time in September, and its sales have not surpassed it in the following three months.

Thanks to the hot sales of the new M7, the sales volume of Wenjie exceeded 24,000 units in December, a month-on-month increase of 30%, ranking third in the list of new forces.

ZEEKR, Zhiji, VOYANT, and ARCFOX all hit record highs. Among them, the delivery volume of Zhiji and VOYAH exceeded 10,000 vehicles for the first time in December, and the delivery volume of Jihu soared by 1 time, exceeding 8,000 vehicles in December.

Nezha Automobile only announced the delivery results of 127496 vehicles in 2023, and we calculated that it only delivered 5,135 vehicles in December, halved month-on-month, hitting a record low and falling out of the list. Since the launch of Seagull and other models, the sales of Nezha's previous popular models Nezha you and V have continued to decline.

In 2023, Aion will win the championship again with more than 480,000 units, and Ideal will soar by 182% year-on-year, achieving a delivery result of 376,000 units, winning the second place, and NIO will deliver more than 160,000 units and win the third place.

In terms of year-on-year growth, Deep Blue, Ideal and VOYAH all achieved more than three-digit growth, of which thanks to the hot sales of S7, Deep Blue achieved a year-on-year growth of more than 389%. Moreover, Aion and Zeekr increased by more than 50% year-on-year.

Nezha is the only brand on the list to see a year-on-year decline, with 127496 deliveries in 2023, down 16.2% year-on-year, falling from last year's runner-up to sixth this year.

GAC Aion's cumulative sales in 2023 will exceed 480,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 77%. As of December 28, GAC Aion's cumulative production and sales exceeded one million units.

In 2023, GAC Aion will rely on the dual brand matrix of "AION + Hyper Haobo", and the brand will be comprehensively improved. The high-end luxury brand Haobo has launched three products: the Haobo GT, a medium and large luxury sedan, the Haobo SSR and the Haobo HT, China's first mass-produced supercar, which are helping GAC Aion's profitability continue to improve.

In addition, in 2023, GAC Aion will launch self-developed technologies such as Quark electric drive, 5C flash charging technology, the safest magazine battery 2.0, Xingling electronic and electrical architecture, ADiGO 5.0 intelligent driving interconnection ecosystem, and Inpai battery.

At the same time, GAC Aion Haobo announced that from January 1, 2024, users who purchase Haobo brand products (Haobo HT, Haobo GT, Haobo SSR) will enjoy lifetime free charging rights.

In December, Li Auto delivered 50,353 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 137.1%, successfully achieving the monthly delivery target of 50,000 vehicles. A total of 131805 vehicles were delivered in the fourth quarter of 2023, up 184.6% year-on-year. For the full year of 2023, a total of 376,030 vehicles were delivered, a year-on-year increase of 182.2%. As of December 31, 2023, Li Auto has delivered more than 600,000 vehicles, making it the largest new Chinese automaker in terms of delivery.

Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Li Auto, said, "In the past December, we successfully achieved the goal of delivering 50,000 vehicles per month and 376,000 new vehicles for the whole year, which is the first time in the history of China's new power car companies that we have exceeded the 300,000 annual delivery mark. At the same time, Li Xiang posted on Weibo that in 2024, Ideal will challenge a higher goal: annual sales of 800,000 vehicles, monthly sales of 100,000 vehicles.

In December, 24,468 new cars were delivered in the AITO Wenjie series, an increase of 29.96% month-on-month, and a total of 94,380 vehicles were delivered in 2023, and the cumulative number of Wenjie M9 vehicles has exceeded 30,000 in the seven days since it was launched.

In December, 20,611 new vehicles were delivered, with a cumulative total of 48,552 deliveries, and the cumulative number of new M7 has exceeded 120,000. Wenjie has been continuously improving its delivery capacity, and the monthly delivery capacity is expected to exceed 30,000 vehicles from 2024.

In December, Xpeng delivered a total of 20,115 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 78%. Xpeng delivered an average of more than 20,000 vehicles per month in the fourth quarter, and delivered a total of 60,158 new vehicles in the fourth quarter, a year-on-year increase of 171%, breaking the milestone of 60,000 deliveries in a single quarter. From January to December 2023, Xpeng delivered a total of 141601 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 17%. As of December 31, 2023, Xpeng Motors has delivered 400311 vehicles in its history, exceeding the 400,000 delivery milestone.

On December 28, Xpeng Motors officially launched a new version of the OTA - Xmart OS 4.5.0 to G9, G6 and P7i users, opening 27 major cities including "Tianjin, Chengdu, Xi'an, Wuhan and Changsha".

Xpeng X9 was officially launched today, with a price of 359,800-419,800 yuan, and deliveries began this month. With the launch of the X9, Xpeng's sales are expected to go further.

NIO delivered 18,012 new vehicles in December, up 13.9% year-on-year. In the fourth quarter of 2023, NIO delivered a total of 50,045 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 25.0%, and the quarterly delivery volume exceeded the delivery guidance. For the full year of 2023, NIO delivered a total of 160038 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 30.7%. As of December 31, 2023, NIO has delivered a total of 449594 new vehicles.

On December 23, at NIO Day, NIO officially released the ET9, the executive flagship sedan, with a pre-sale price of 800,000 yuan, which is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2025. The ET9 is equipped with a number of key technologies from NIO, such as the first self-developed intelligent driving chip "Shenji NX9031", the global operating system SkyOS Tianshu, a fully wire-controlled intelligent chassis, and a 900V high-voltage architecture.

Li Bin, CEO of NIO, once said that the biggest lesson this year is that sales ability training is lagging behind, and intentional orders are lost due to lack of timely follow-up. As for next year's expectations, Li Bin said that the NIO brand will not release new models next year, and will focus more on selling good cars at the moment. After the seasonality in the first quarter of next year, the sales benchmark for the NIO brand's current models on sale is 20,000 units.

In December, Leapmotor delivered 18,618 vehicles, a record high and a year-on-year increase of more than 119%, and the cumulative annual delivery volume reached 144155, a year-on-year increase of nearly 30%, and the cumulative delivery volume has exceeded 300,000 vehicles since its establishment.

Since the release of the "Family Bucket" product in March this year, Leapmotor has achieved stable market growth. Since May, the monthly sales volume of Leap has continued to exceed 10,000, and the number of deliveries has reached a new high. With the growth of sales, the change of the main sales model from the past T03 to the higher-priced C11 and C01, as well as the continuous cost reduction and efficiency increase, Leapmotor achieved the goal of turning gross profit into positive in the third quarter of 2023 ahead of schedule despite the highly competitive product pricing.

On January 10, Leapmotor will release the latest achievements of the six modules of LEAP3.0 technology, and at that time, the new model C10 equipped with LEAP3.0 technology will also start pre-sale, which will help Leapmotor achieve higher sales results in 2024.

ZEEKR delivered 13,476 vehicles in December, a new all-time record, up 18.9% year-on-year. Cumulative deliveries for the year reached 118,685 units, up 65% year-on-year. It is worth noting that the new model of ZEEKR 007 will be officially delivered on January 1, 2024.

In terms of marketing and after-sales service network layout, up to now, ZEEKR has established 341 directly-operated stores across the country. At the same time, up to now, ZEEKR has built 432 pole charging stations. It is expected that by 2024, there will be 1,000 pole charging stations across the country, and by 2026, more than 10,000 charging piles are expected to be built.

VOYAH delivered 10,017 new vehicles in December, up 43% month-on-month and 479% year-on-year, marking the first time that its deliveries exceeded 10,000 units. Among them, the monthly sales of the new Lantu Dreamer exceeded 5,000 units in December, achieving four consecutive increases.

With the achievement of the monthly sales target of 10,000 units, the cumulative sales volume of VOYAH in 2023 has exceeded 50,552 units, an increase of 160% over the same period, and the annual sales target has been achieved.

In 2023, the product matrix of VOYAH will be expanded, and the new VOYAH FREE, new VOYAH Dreamer, and Chasing Light PHEV will be launched successively. At present, VOYAH has formed a high-end product pattern of "SUV + MPV + sedan", and completed the strategic layout of "three cars in three years and three categories in three years".

In 2024, VOYAH will continue to innovate and challenge higher targets on the basis of 50,000 units, driving both brand voice and product sales.
