Liu Minsheng

Liu Minsheng (1888-1978), formerly known as Liu Zaiqin. Zodiac Sign: Rat. A native of Yishui County, Shandong Province.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he successively served as vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial People's Government (1950), vice governor (1955-1958, 1963-1967), member of the East China Military and Political Committee, president of the East China Branch of the Supreme People's Court, and vice chairman of the Second, Third and Fourth CPPCC Committees of Shandong Province.

He is an alternate deputy to the First National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a deputy to the First, Second, Third and Fifth National People's Congresses.

Bi Mingqi

Bi Mingqi (1902-1971), the character Fenggang. Zodiac Sign: Tiger. A native of Lijin County, Shandong Province.

After the founding of The People's Republic of China, he successively served as the manager of the Tianjin branch of the China Native Animal Products Import and Export Corporation, the vice chairman of the Second All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the chairman of the Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce, the standing committee member of the Central Committee of the China Democratic Construction Association, the vice chairman of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, the deputy of the First National People's Congress, the vice chairman of the First Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CO-opted), and the vice mayor of Tianjin (1956-1958).

He is enthusiastic about social welfare and charity; before the founding of the People's Republic of China, he donated to his alma mater, Jining Zhongxi Middle School.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he donated funds to the Shandong Provincial Tongxiang association hospital and expanded it into a Red Cross Hospital. He also promoted the donation of import and export peers to create Tianjin Experimental Primary School, and donated a property located in Changde Road, Tianjin to the society to open a kindergarten.

He was prepared to donate funds to the Children's Welfare Foundation, but the turmoil of the Cultural Revolution was not realized. After the end of the Cultural Revolution, his wife Zhang Xiuru donated 60,000 yuan to fulfill his long-cherished wish.

Zhang Hanying (1900-2002), zihuafu. Zodiac Sign: Rat. A native of Heze City, Shandong Province.
